Even the appliances which were new looked like they were from the 1930s. The host was amazing and when we arrived, met us at the house and shared its history with us. "We chose this site as it is close to where we were working. However, the sunrises and sunsets at this location and in a beautiful room full of windows were gorgeous!! It would be a neat place to stay for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is also nice and all utensils we needed were there to prepare individual meals or shared meals for the four of us!!"

"A lovely little house, with views of the Northumberland Strait which you can sit and look at from a screened deck area - so you are mosquito free. It is off the beaten track at a quiet area of the island but it is so beautiful. Within walking distance of a small beach and driving distance to so many more!"

"Celebrated a great day at Fiddling Fisherman. Accommodations were very close by. A little more traffic than expected but nothing a pair of earplugs can't fix. Lots of sports channels is a plus. Well outfitted to eat-in also. "
