"Great house, clean and well equipped, just more isolated than we expected. Food shopping about half hour drive to Montague. Cell service can be weak depending on your provider. for swimming/beach combing, Panmure Island is easy drive."

"The house was very comfortable for the 5 of us and a dog. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, 2 types of coffee makers etc. my grown kids enjoyed the hot tub. The views from the backyard were beautiful!"

"The cottage is large and has a lot of living space. 2 full bathrooms and 5 bedrooms were appreciated. The location is convenient and the view is beautiful! One suggestion is to invest in some air conditioning. The cottage was very warm, uncomfortably so at times, and felt damp because of the humidity. Signs of that dampness were evident. With some A/C we felt the place would have been perfect. Summers are hotter than ever before and expected to continue that trend. Thank you to our hosts!"

"We chose this site as it is close to where we were working. However, the sunrises and sunsets at this location and in a beautiful room full of windows were gorgeous!! It would be a neat place to stay for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is also nice and all utensils we needed were there to prepare individual meals or shared meals for the four of us!!"

"Totally incredible place to stay! The view out the windows was beautiful and peaceful. The home itself was very comfortable with every amenity and comfort. A unique property with the feel of solitude and quiet. We also were treated to an amazing aurora show our last night. The host was extremely helpful and responsive with any questions. "Celebrated a great day at Fiddling Fisherman. Accommodations were very close by. A little more traffic than expected but nothing a pair of earplugs can't fix. Lots of sports channels is a plus. Well outfitted to eat-in also. "

"Our family has created such wonderful memories in this specious bright cottage! Bill has thought of everything. I cannot think of a single thing missing during our week at the cottage. Photos do not do it justice. We will surely come back again! "

"This is such a gem of a property. The farmhouse is charming and comfortable, the views are spectacular, and the little beach just down the road is amazing. We had a wonderful time on the east end of the island. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The John Burck Historical House was a GREAT place to stay with our family. The house has been beautifully renovated to look how it did in the 1930s. Even the appliances which were new looked like they were from the 1930s. The host was amazing and when we arrived, met us at the house and shared its history with us. He also provided a book with pertinent information and the history of the home. He checked in several times during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The house is...

"A lovely little house, with views of the Northumberland Strait which you can sit and look at from a screened deck area - so you are mosquito free. It is off the beaten track at a quiet area of the island but it is so beautiful. Within walking distance of a small beach and driving distance to so many more!"

"Stunning property! Two beds upstairs that adjoin through the bathroom, perfect for my family with kids. One bedroom downstairs with attached bath. The suite above the garage was ideal for the in-laws to get their own space! Spectacular yard with an amazing gazebo, deck and shoreline to enjoy the evening. Kids were digging for clams every evening and on Panmure Beach every day! Donna was a great host and helped out with everything we could need! We will be back!"
