"This is a stone summer home with the most magnificent patio/deck on the first floor providing a totally unobstructed view of the Messinian Gulf. Sunsets are stunning from this place. "We had a great 2 weeks stayiny in Villa Koroni. We always go self catering and we have never been to such a well equipped villa. We swam everyday at the deserted beach just a short walk away with crystal clear water. "We had a wonderful holiday and found the house to be the perfect base for exploring the area by car. The house had everything we needed, with beautiful views in a secluded location. Mrs Anna and Mr Kostas were very welcoming, friendly and generous with their home produce. "Back from a lovely week stay in Mariellen. Spotless accomodation in a great location. The property was lovely and spacious and was well equipped with everything we needed. It was the perfect base for exploring the area with the beach close by, local restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again in the future."

"Excellent host, property, and location to explore lots of area...something for everyone. Privacy was always respected and the house was very clean and well equipped. Sonia is an excellent host with lots of information for you see/do in the area. Pool was fantastic as the Greece heatwave was too much to go exploring, some days, and was a nice way to keep cool and have some relaxing days in."

"We had 11 days at Giorgios house and we wished we could have stayed longer. Giorgios and his wife Terpsi were amazing hosts. They brought us wine, olives, geapes and olive oil to welcome us on our first visit to Greece. The house is surrounded by nature and we felt very welcome. There's lots to do but you definitely need a car. There is a local taverna which is also lovely. We will be vack!"

"A beautiful villa in an amazing setting. Night and day the view was stunning.We all enjoyed the pool especially as there was a heatwave the first couple of days.We had to use fans at night and when we let property manager know one wasn't working another one was provided.Would love to go back to explore the area more, a week was not enough."

The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, Costa Navarino

"I could write many paragraphs on the Romanos but I will stick to the highlights. It is a very good hotel - perhaps not quite exceptional, but very good in many areas. Combined with the Westin it is large - we went late October which was perhaps fractionally late for sunbathing (though it was about 25 degrees between 11-4 so good for lying by the pool or on the beach) - but perfect golfing temperature. The golf is excellent, the tennis set-up is disappointing despite the number of courts. Private lessons are absurdly expensive and they have not managed to create a 'Club' feel at the tennis by organising age group or ability clinics which are so important for kids to make new friends. The dining options are very good and the food is of a high standard (although quite a few restaurants were closed by late Oct which was disappointing). The place is crazy expensive - €5 for one Karaoke song or €50 for an hour's padel is not going to encourage people to try it with their kids. The golf is crazy expensive but full anyhow and very well laid on across the 4 courses. The buggy system if you have U18s is tiresome - you have to have a buggy but cannot drive it if you are U18 so if 2 kids play you have to have 2 adults driving the buggies (and they charge you for the extra buggy that you do no "
