The lock on the door to my room was damaged. The striker plate is very loose so the deadbolt wouldn’t work. It looks like the door had been forced open at one time

They first gave us another room different than what I booked here. Which we didn’t like and the. When we asked again to change it they gave us the room which I booked here in another building.

The room was clean enough and spacious but had a strange odor. This gave the feeling of it being dirty. It was not relaxing. The staff was nice enough but seemed limited - we had to go several times to get linens they had left out of our room.

Overall, the stay was great. Room was clean, staff was friendly, provided things when asked in a timely manner. The only thing I could say that could be worked on his some overall building updating in try to make the room smell more fresh.

There was ants all in the kitchen. They didn’t come to clean but every 4 days, which normally I would say is okay but it’s on the beach so sand was coming in no matter what. So there was sand everywhere floors, beds. Also the AC did not get cold at all and we could hardly sleep it was so hot in the rooms at night. The shower was a really poor design and water leaked all over the bathroom and used up most of our towels just trying to keep it semi-dry.

The location away from the crowds was unmatched. The beach was pristine. The beds were comfortable and clean! The balcony was loud and wet due to the air conditioning unit. The elevator was questionable and extremely slow! All in all a good choice for people wanting an affordable room for vacation but if you require much more than a clean room you probably need to keep looking!
