If you'd like to upgrade your cooking game, the resort offers shared gas grills. This charming retreat boasts a convenient washer/dryer so you don't have to worry about dirty clothes or packing heavy. If the beach is too crowded for your liking, take advantage of one of the shared pools available (indoor, outdoor, heated), or relax your tired muscles in the shared hot tub.

With this prime location, the main attraction is the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the sugar-white sands; it's the perfect time to work on your tan and leave all of your worries behind (make sure to bring your sunscreen). Rent some gear at the nearby Salty Dog Surf Shop right across the street or buy some presents and souvenirs for your people back home at Monkey Shack. Guests will need to directly pay the resort a $50 registration fee upon arrival, which covers parking passes and armbands. Guests may purchase one additional parking pass for $30.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The Grand Panama is a nice place in the off season. The pool and grounds are quite well-maintained. The room is smaller than it appears in pictures, but was generally well-equipped. The balcony is nice but needs new furniture. (folding table and plastic chairs)

3 day getaway with the grands
The unit i stayed in was amazing! Clean, well stocked and plenty of room. I read reviews before we went and was a little apprehensive but i dudnt experience any of the thongs people complained about. Tje queen bed could use a better mattress but thats the ONLY thing i can think of that is a "complaint". The pool and hot tub was plenty big but the parking garage really needs to be expanded somehow. It just took a little while to get a space. All in all we had a wonderful time and plan on doing it again next year! I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

Location is great, unit is clean but needs fresh paint and new carpets and furniture in living room. Chairs are more outdoor than indoor and very uncomfortable. Box springs in 2nd bedroom are noisy when just rolling over but mattress is comfy.

The photos for this property had to be taken years ago. Everything is run down, broken, old, and dirty. The overall grounds for grand panama were great though. Very clean and well maintained. I will happily stay at ANOTHER condo at grand Panama again.

I loved the room and all the amenities. The only reason I only gave 4 stars is that the A/C would not cool below 73. I called maintenance multiple times and never got a response. Other than that, the room was great.

The location was very good and accommodations were ok. Certain basic essentials were not present. We only had 3 forks, no metal spatula, no large frying pan. TV remotes needed batteries and main bedroom light had no light bulbs. Easily fixable issues and something that we expected to be in the unit. also, it would be helpful to provide instructions on how to operate the tvs as there were 3 remotes with no guidance.

Upon arrival the condo had a odor and the walls had damage the outdoor table broke was not the cleanest and the guest bedroom did not work plus had a few bugs and all report Would actually appreciate some kind of refund so to lack of cleaning and condo condition We have used VRBO for years and have never had any problems except for this one WILL not be back to this condo unit Any refund would be greatly appreciated Pam

Overall, no huge complaints and we would stay again. Minor inconveniences. There were areas that had not been cleaned and the kitchen had food in cabinets that was missed by the cleaning crew. No forks? We had to go get some plastic ones. And compared to other condos we have stayed in the building, just wasn’t as nice. Outdoor furniture needs to be updated and wasn’t comfortable. TVs need to be updated, cable didn’t work on the living room TV. And we have stayed at other condos with all smart TVs with our apps etc. First world problems for sure.

Rented this condo for the 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths as we had 5 people staying and didnt want to have to worry about everyone sharing 1 shower. Master bath shower was in the process of being redone and was completely unusable. But that was never communicated with me. Balcony had small piles of sand and dirt all over, clearly indicating the balcony wasnt cleaned after previous renter. And second bedroom had water damage right outside bathroom door that was still wet and had warped the floor, so the person staying in that room kept flip flops by the bed so they didnt have to step on the wet floor with there bare feet trying to leave the room. Very disappointing for what we paid for the unit. Definitely not worth the money.

No communication about renovations being done INSIDE unit!
Still waiting to hear back from someone after requesting to be contacted regarding the unit we were staying in. The shower in the master bath was being redone and not able to be used at all, yet no one communicated that with me, nor was I financially compensated for paying for a 2 bdrm 2 FULL bath yet did not recieve that. Balcony had small piles of sand all over - including table on balcony and dirt, small debris - clearly indicating the balcony was not cleaned after previous renter. And to top it all off, there was water damage on the floor in the second bedroom right outside the entrance to the bathroom. The floor was warped and WET still. Yet again, no communication regarding this when renting or prior to stay. Resort itself is nice and a good location. But I would not rent through this company again due to issues experienced. Still waiting to get a return phone call…
