The cottages are nice and clean, spacious, and laid out well; however, the listing is wildly inaccurate. It states that the cottages are on the beach, with beach views, ocean views, etc., and all the pictures depict this as well. What the listing does NOT state is that there are only a small number of cottages that match this description. I realize that the listing says you aren't guaranteed a beachfront cottage, but very few people are getting what is portrayed. The majority of the cottages are across a busy street with zero view of the beach. They do have a crossing guard, but, every time we crossed, cars whizzed by as the guard attempted to stop them.
Also, if you have small children, as we did...the listing states that the floor plans may vary, but the shower/bath description does, as well. We booked from a listing that described 3 bathrooms with showers only and one with a bath/shower combo. Our actual cottage had only showers.
Final issue...the amenities lists the availability of beach chair/umbrella rentals. Upon check-in, the resort rules are passed along that state no other chairs, etc., may be used on the private resort beach, therefore substantially increasing the cost of your stay. For example, my group included 7 adults, 3 children, and an infant. The cost to rent chairs for adults only, with one umbrella
