Stressful!
The property was clean, staff was wonderful , check in was great . The elevators were terrible ,we spent at least 2 hours of our day with a 2 yr old and a 2 month old waiting to get on the elevators. Three different times we waited 45 minutes and finally just went back to our condo and looked at the beach from our balcony until later those days. The rest of the time it was 15 to 30 minute times. We would go down at 6 am to set up our area on the beach and the elevators were great then. Thats the only time. We also woke up at 2 am with water pouring from the ceiling. My daughter got up to feed her 2 month old and slipped and caught herself. Luckily she didnt fall. We notified them . They came and took pictures and said oh wow and gave us towels to throw on the floor and keep it cleaned up for 2 days until it stopped leaking. They never came back!! I went down and asked what the plan was because we have a 2 yr old running around and we were worried about her slipping along with my daughter getting up to feed the baby in the middle of the night . They told me they were discussing it. I never heard anything back. I paid 4,000.00 for this condo and expected to hear back from Vacasa about it but never did!! I emailed them and not a thing except the conversation with the lady at the desk . It just overall was a stressful trip. We understand things happen, but them not even trying to make it right upset me. We will bypass Tidewater in the future.
