This beautiful three story beach house is just a few steps from the beach! Perhaps you would prefer to lounge around a private pool, instead. Heat the pool for just a little extra fee. The house is located in a lazy laid back neighborhood of private homes on the beach. At the same time, you are 5-10 minutes away from all the best restaurants and shopping.
Friends of mine once said that when they go on vacation, they want to stay somewhere that is nicer than their own home. That is exactly what we have tried to accomplish with this totally elegant Beach House. This place has all the bells and whistles. Every bedroom has a King size bedroom suite. One set of built in bunks with deluxe pillow top mattresses. There is a queen sleeper sofa on the second floor. This is a perfect set up for two or more families.

Be prepared for luxury from the formal dining room as you enter, to the 12 foot ceilings and magnificent crown moulding throughout. Granite counters grace the well equipped kitchen as do the stainless appliances. Watch your favorite TV shows on large screen TVs in the living room or family room or enjoy your show from the comfort of your bedroom.

On the second level you will find what we like to call the family suite. There you will find a large family room, including a wet bar and half bath. The built in bunks make this like a fourth bedroom. There is a large balcony overlooking the private HEATED POOL. The second floor bedroom has a king bed suite with bath, balcony and HD LED TV.

The third level has two king bedrooms with private baths. The Master Suite is adorned with a fireplace, double vanity, a jetted tub and a spacious shower. A private balcony off the Master is a great place to enjoy warm moonlit Florida nights. The second bedroom has a beautiful Tropical King Bedroom suite for your comfort. Both bedrooms are equipped with a TV.

Prime Location: On the quieter end of PCB on the much desired beach side of Thomas Drive. A hundred steps down Albacore Street and you are on the beach... no crossing busy streets to get to the beach. Only 3 miles from St. Andrews State Park and walking distance from several restaurants and amusement parks.


Sorry, NO pets allowed. Must have someone over age 25 to stay in the house. We do not rent to student groups or wedding parties.

The locationand house was great. The property owner was so easy to talk to and very quick at responding. He even called and made sure the house was in great condition when we arrived. There was plenty of beach chairs! We will definitely book again next year if available!

The property is really beautiful property.
The hosts were so accommodating and communicated great. The check in and check out were a snap. The location is excellent for all the going’s on, but the property felt like home. I recommend this property and Bill and Susan were wonderful hosts! Thank you! Would rent again definitely!

Great house. Great location. Owner (Bill) was super nice! Called us on day of check/in. Very prompt with replies to any questions we had during our stay. Highly recommend! 🔟 Will note that there isn’t a grill due to irresponsible renters in the past, but we made it work, and would not prevent us from renting here again. p. s. Great leg workout too getting to third floor 😉

This was our second time staying. We so enjoy the house, perfect location to beach as well as your own private pool! Everything you need for home away from home. This property was perfect for our family of nine. We had two teenagers who thoroughly enjoyed the bunk room. Since there were a couple of days with double red flags at the beach, the pool was an added bonus.

Stayed with 6 family members very comfortablely in this house. Description is accurate, very clean and well appointed house. The beach is fantastic, very wide at this portion. There is not a lot of high rise buildings near this section of the beach. Excellent stay with comfortable large bedrooms and general house areas. Lots of decent sized bathrooms plus powder rooms. Fenced backyard with nice pool.

My husband and I go every year with our two sons their wives and the four grandkids on a summer vacation. This is a place we would difinitely consider renting again. Pool was enough for the kids to swim but not many adults, but that's okay, it kept the kids entertained while we cooked. Stocked well and as nice as the ad said it was in the ad. Great location too.

Great week full of memories
The house was great and everything we needed and more. We had 12 total people, 6 adults, 6 boys age ranges from 11-17. We had plenty of room and the location is great. It was just a short 2 minute walk to the beach and minutes from just about anything you want to do. We look forward to coming back again next year!!

We stayed here just for a week-end and wish we had time to stay longer. House is so close to the ocean and close to all the action. We also liked sitting around our own private pool. Everyone had their once space with the 3 different levels. Very clean. Great communication. Close to beach access and a quiet area. If I had to pick one thing to complain about it would be the beach chairs on the property were falling apart. Great house and would recommend.

This was definitely a home away from home..the house is just like the pictures and much more. It was equipped with everything we need..my kids loved it and so did my husband. Spring Breakers 2014!!
The Albacore was absolutely beautiful! We had such a wonderful time!! This home accommodated 2 families with four adults and six pre/teenagers with plenty of space for all of us. The Albacore was furnished with all of our needs and then some. The photo's are exactly what the property looks like, very clean, well maintained and decorated beautifully. The area had many options for dining, shopping, entertainment, night life, and most importantly 100 steps to the beach! Started our day with a run along the ocean and ended them with the beautiful sunset on the beach! Bill was a pleasure to work with, he answered all of my quetions and was very helpful, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or person to deal with. Thank you Bill! We can’t wait to come back!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC
First off, this place was fantastic. The location of the property to the beach is super close. Literally in 3-4 minute walk you are on the beach. The house is huge. The property is extremely well maintained and has all the amenities you need. We came during the middle of the pandemic, so there was a short supply of toilet paper and garbage bags. Maybe bring a few or run to one of the nearby stores. When I come back to Panama CIty, I hope Mr. Shaffield will still have this property. Hei is a very, very nice guy and immediately answered any questions we had. I cannot say thanks enough. We LOVED our recent stay in the Albacore House.

Fantastic Vacation Spot
My husband, 3 boys, and I, rented this home with my parents and my sister and her husband. This was by far the most perfect vacation rental for our crew. Downstairs is the kitchen, living room, dining room, half bath, pool patio and pool. The middle floor has a large bedroom, bathroom, 1/2 bath, mini bar, living room and built in bunk beds, plus a balcony and porch. On the 3rd floor you will find 2 additional bedrooms, a balcony and 2 large bathrooms. My parents, sister and her husband were able to retreat to the 2 rooms on the 3rd floor, and there was plenty of room for my 3 boys, husband and I on the 2nd floor. Everyone had their own space, plus some! The fenced in pool area was so nice and easy to keep up with my kids. I always feel like at resort pools I’m on edge because the pool area is so large, crowded, and my kids want to run everywhere. I was able to relax by a pool for the first time in many vacations! Also, the walk to the beach is a breeze and quite enjoyable. It takes maybe two minutes until your toes hit sand, (and that was with a 1yo, 4yo, and 10yo in tow). This house feels like home! We can’t wait to come back!

Not a good place. As arrived found several things wrong! Condom on the floor of one of bedrooms . Plugs will not work in bathrooms. Dirty plates under the bed. We done everything that was asked of as far as check out! Notifed owner of all issues. Did leave luggage cleaning lady did come back and give out luggage and didn’t not have to that! (Appreciate that very much) she was rude! We did use wash cloths to remove make up as some woman do. Owner state we could be charge for wash cloths because they would not come clean? Also stated we had spilled something in floor. One of rails on staircase was broke when arrived! Dishwasher when open to load literally would fall completely out of its place into floor. Also they stated pool was cleaned on fridays. Pool has not been cleaned in a while. We also paid when booked a cleaning fee. I notified owner to them know if things that was wrong upon arrival. With pictures just as I thought he like to be aware of issues. I was told he had best cleaning crew there. While that might be case I’m not sure how condom in the bedroom floor dirty dishes under a bed is clean!

First Beach Vacay w/ Great Granddaughter
Great vacation with family and friends! Although the weather was not perfect, the trip itself was! Great house, clean, great location, and excellent owners to work with!
