" Hotel receptionist is not helpful. Marina refused to address any questions and ask that i go to their bigger hotel across to figure out bill. Since the hotel rooms are ipma mountain, you get a ride to room with check in but that’s it. That would be ok, except that there’s no in room phone to call reception in case you need something or have a question. The bar was out of tonic and soda both nights and the beer was flat. Peaceful villa with wonderful view

"The villa is great. The view over the sea to Mount Athos is wonderful. My only reservation is that the drive up to the villa is quite steep and in poor condition. Also, the nearest supermarket or bakery is about 10 kilometers away. Aliki is just a seaside resort, not a village. However, the path around the peninsula is really wonderful, taking in the old marble quarries and an ancient sanctuary. The beach on the east side is much quieter than the main beach. "
