"Nice place, good airco, in the old town close to restaurants etc. Breakfast was sad (pre-packed toast, butter and jam). The city of Taranto is not very nice, a lot of boarded up homes, streets at dirt etc. There is not much to do. I thought the price of the room was high considering that city."

"Francesco and Melissa were great hosts in this stunning house. They gave us loads of information on where to go during the days and where to eat in the evenings (excellent restaurant every time). The breakfast was nice and beautifully prepared, like everything else they did (attention to detail was perfect). The room was unbelievable for the price, a huge bedroom, a bathroom bigger than my living room and a massive outside area on the roof with an outdoor shower, which we loved."

"We are not novices to tourism-we drove in Turkey, Greece, visited Europe by rail. However, not knowing the meaning of Italian road signs/addresses, combined with unremarkable, high above the road signage for Masseria Nuovo, we drove anxiously up & down the country road looking for its one-lane dirt track turn off among many others along the road. "When we arrived we were shown a room about 20 sq m. We had reserved an apartment room 55 sq m, with full kitchen. After showing them my reservation I was told the room wasn't available because they were under reservation. The whole front of the building is scaffolded and looks like it has been like this fir awhile. We had to find another place in the evening as we had food that would spoil. My advise.DO NOT STAY HERE. "

"Everything about your stay here was wonderful! Gianluigi was fantastic. We got a flat tire on our way in and he immediately called a mechanic to help us. He offered to have our rental car company call him, since our Italian is terrible and we didn’t know where we were! "　家族経営のため、細部まで気配りが行き届いていた。　レンタカー使用で、ガリポリ、モノポリやアルベロベッロ等周辺観光の拠点として利用したけれど意図にあった場所だった。　門有敷地内駐車場が無料で利用できて安全だった。　また、共用のキッチンとコーヒーメーカー等も利便性が高かった。　個人的な不都合としては、Wi-Fi有りとなっているけれど実質的には全くサーバーに接続できなかったことと、無料（宿泊費込）の朝食に野菜類と畜産加工品が少しあればよかったと思う。　Wi-Fiに関しては、おそらく宿主宅内にあるルーターを共用しているのだと思うけれど、ルーターからの搬送波は弱くネットワークへは全く接続できなかった。　緊急用に持っているモバイルルーターを必要最小限使用してデーター送信等行なって凌ぐこととなった。　客室のある２階にもWi-Fiルーターを設置すれば良いと思う。"

"Very good"

"Our hosts, Filomena and Domenico, were amazingly attentive and responsive the entire time and made us feel like family. They are wonderful people, and their little truly makes you feel like you're living in a castle. I'm not the type to write reviews, but I adored these people and their beautiful property. Additionally, it's a perfect location because it's a half-hour drive to either the Adriatic or Mediterranean and a perfect, peaceful respite in the country after a busy day."
