Then to have a cup of coffee the next morning on a chair overlooking beautiful scenery. This place has access either way across Rancho CA and then the back way to dePortola. A very well kept and appointed property that we would come back to as a couple time and time again. "

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and clean, perfect for the two of us. It was a 10 min Uber from a bunch of great wineries that were within walking distance of each other. Also really close to old town Temecula with a lot of good restaurants and bars. Easy to check in and out and can't recommend highly enough. "

"Steve and Claudia were excellent hosts. Steve gave us great advice on where to go for dinner and which wineries to check out. My wife and I hung out in the front yard with a cup of coffee the following day and watched the hot air balloons. This was a great getaway and we will be back. "

"The owner was very nice and it is obvious. She put a lot of effort into the rooms in the rooms. The first night was wonderful. The bedding was so comfortable. Everything was great. Bottom line, it is a shared situation. People arrived talking at 3/2 AM and continued to talk For over 30 minutes."

"Place was beautiful and had all the amenities you could possibly need. We loved having coffee on the deck every morning and even brought our dogs as well as they loved the quiet and paths to take walks on. We will be staying here every time we come to visit family! Highly recommend!"

"We were looking for a short trip away from home to unwind and this definitely fit the bill. We loved watching the hummingbirds on the feeder with the mountains in the background ! The room was clean ,and the bed was comfy. We enjoyed several restaurants including a "Pop up" only open on Sunday morning where we had incredible Mexican food. Valley View casino was a convenient short drive away as was Bates nut farm. The host was very responsive and available."

"The property is well equipped and welcoming atmosphere from the very beginning of our stay. We loved a private patio and SPA with great view. There are many things to do around the place within 30min by car, San Diego Safari Park, Oceanside beach, Carlsbad Premium Outlet and a lot of breweries. "A beautiful Casita and the views are spectacular. They have done such a great job with decorating, stocking and landscaping. The care they have put into all the succulent plants adds so much beauty and interest. We loved the deck on all the sides and furnished and decorated for you comfort. "The Buena Creek Refuge is indeed a beautiful refuge. We felt relaxed the moment we popped out of the cars. Nine of us spent 6 nights celebrating our 50th anniversary and visiting the area attractions. It was wonderful to have the Refuge to come home to rather than some hotel.
