"The lake was extremely quiet and was perfect for kayaking. Yard was big enough to play cornhole and yard games. The view was great and peaceful to have a small fire at night. Neighborhood seemed quiet and was nice for morning walks. The house had everything you might need or anything you might forget on a getaway and was provided for you. That was much appreciated"

"It is a very nice and historical building. Lots of history that the staff is ready to tell you about. Nice rooms quaint and cozy. The restaurant and bar right there make it very easy to get a good meal or have a late night drink. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our 2 night stay. I will give one caveat ... On Friday night there was a DJ and the music was a bit loud until around midnight so if you stay on a night the DJ is in the bar it may be disturbing for a bit. Saturday night just the jukebox was on and wasn't too loud to sleep. Over-all a very nice place"
