"Quaint small complex. Was given a tour at check in, Only 13 units, all ground level. Across the street from the beach. Pool and laundry tucked in behind the units. Perfect set up! Our King room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. They provided a lot of extras, utensils, plates, beach towels, chairs and umbrella. There were extra items made available to use…coolers, extra chairs, etc. Location is great, Perfect home base to go check out more things to do in the area. Convenient beach...

"My brother and I visited my aunt in Sarasota. Mermaid Cottage was a perfect location. It’s in a lovely neighborhood and is close to both the airport and the beach. The cottage is very clean and well appointed. Our host was very responsive when we couldn’t figure out how to lock the front door! Overall just a great experience. We will be back! Thank you!"

"Judy has thought of everything- lovely furniture and decor; close enough to the beach but far enough from the crowds; all the dishes you could use; top quality towels; the pool; bikes and beach equipment are a plus. Our second time staying here, will stay again."
