Hyer Mountain Vista-Chugiak Bungalow

Escape to the enchanting wilderness of Alaska and experience the perfect romantic getaway in our charming mountain bungalow. This intimate retreat is designed for two, offering a peaceful haven amidst the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding mountains.

Accommodation:
The bungalow features a comfortable and inviting space, perfect for a couple seeking tranquility and seclusion. Unwind in the cozy living area or snuggle up together to take in the panoramic views of the majestic mountains through large picture windows.

Kitchenette:
Prepare delightful meals for two in the well-equipped kitchenette. It comes complete with essential appliances and utensils, allowing you to cook and savor your favorite dishes while enjoying the stunning natural backdrop just outside.

Bathroom:
The bungalow boasts a modern and private bathroom, providing all the amenities you need to freshen up after a day of exploring the Alaskan wilderness.

Outdoor Space:
Step outside to your outdoor area, where you can immerse yourselves in the serenity of nature. Sip your morning coffee on the patio while witnessing the breathtaking sunrise over the mountains. In the evenings, unwind with a glass of wine as you admire the mesmerizing colors of the sunset.

You will receive the door code a day before your reservation to access the bungalow.

We are not on-site but can be contacted by phone and get a quick response.

Our Neighborhood is a very quite one. Please remember the quiet hours.

The property is very close to the highway for easy access to downtown Palmer and Wasilla.

Property is 45 minutes from the Airport and 10 minutes from MatSu Regional Hospital. Great restaurants, hiking, site seeing, skiing and much more nearby. Skeetawk ski area is 15 minutes away.
There is a cooler provided for road trips next to the wood bin.
No additional guests allowed only the two adults that booked. Please take shoes off after entering the bungalow.
NO FIRES when windy! When having a fire in the firepit, there is wood close by to use. Please make sure that fire is out when going to bed, also make sure the cover is on the pit.

Your welcome to smoke or vap, we just ask that you do it outside only! Evidence of smoking inside will result to a $500.00 charge.

Perfect hideaway
This was the perfect inbetween place for us to stop for our drive to Anchorage. Its close to everything. We got to snowmobile, dogsled, see a glacier, and a frozen waterfall. You have a diamond in the mountains, Mahlers!

The cottage is awesome, you can't beat the view. When I asked any questions they got right back with me. Very clean and beautiful place to stay , even had muffins waiting on us that was nice since we both was a little hungry when got here but to tired to get something to eat.

This property was just what I was looking for during my stay in Alaska! The place is so cute and decorated nicely. The bed was comfortable, kitchen was just the right size for meals, and the fire pit was a perfect evening activity overlooking the mountains. I would definitely book again!

The view from this property is unbelievable and the hosts were very responsive! We enjoyed our stay and found the room quite nice. The bed was very comfortable. Our only observation is that it is quite small and felt a bit cramped at times for a longer stay like ours (a week)... just something to be aware of when you book.
