"We loved our stay! Everything was excellent. The location is on a hill in a quiet neighborhood and is an easy walk to the centre, the malecón, Calle Enramadas, Parc Cespedes, the cathedral and museums. The house is very secure, the rooms are private, clean and comfortable, and there are two lovely terrazas with a spectacular view of the city, mountains and harbour. "Worst place to stay. They didn’t have our reservation. Also when you open the place it smell like something dead. There was this huge dog leaving there and hair and the smell of his saliva everywhere. Please do not stay there! We didn’t because of all that Not clean at all or good customer service "

"I reserved this place for a friend of mine and his girlfriend , I paid two nights , He came and at the second day the owener told him that he will need to move to a new place. The water didn't work , and then we realized that the owener wanted to rent for another bigger group of friends... Incredible. Any ways he found a solution and send my friend to another place ( Wich was so dissapointed) "

"The best and only way to experience Cuba is to stay with a Cuban family. The friendliest, most gracious, most soulful people on Earth. Masiel and Samuel are gentle, caring hosts who take great pride in giving their guests a wonderful experience in Santiago. Their home is only several blocks from the Center, which is a good distance for quiet respite. The breakfast was simply fabulous!! The air conditioning was as cold as we needed to refresh ourselves and sleep well, and the showers were warm....

Hostal Dellamar is the best!!

"We loved our stay! Everything was excellent. The location is on a hill in a quiet neighborhood and is an easy walk to the centre, the malecón, Calle Enramadas, Parc Cespedes, the cathedral and museums. The house is very secure, the rooms are private, clean and comfortable, and there are two lovely terrazas with a spectacular view of the city, mountains and harbour. Best of all, our hosts were so friendly and kind and helpful with everything we needed. They treated us like family. They served tasty breakfasts and one day treated us to a delicious chickpea stew. The owner, Joel, has a car and can drive guests on excursions to the beach and other sites in the area such as El Morro. I will definitely stay there again and recommend this casa to my friends. "
