"Great find and excellent value - great location for old town and strip. Hotel if definitely orientated towards Spanish holiday makers but that didn’t bother me as did not use bar and went room only. Staff were all pleasant and room was large, great bed and lovely pool view balcony - couldn’t really find fault with my stay . Would recommend and I’d stay again!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Melia Benidorm – It’s got a great feel to it with a lovely pool area, just a couple of minor issues. Housekeeping could have been a bit better, as used cups and glasses in the room weren’t washed or replaced regularly, and toilet rolls weren’t replenished until there was about 5 sheets left!. "Good location within easy access to the beach bars etc. Breakfast was fantastic! Staff were friendly. Lifts were ok for us as we were on the 2nd floor and we were also away from the building work going on next door. Bathroom is ok if going with a partner but we went as a Mother, Auntie and Nephew and the glass door on the bathroom was a little awkward, also as the shower doesn’t completely shut the water from it sometimes leaked into the bedroom area. "Hotel is nice and the staff are. Room had no iron, kettle or fridge but otherwise had everything you would need. The breakfast buffet food items where clearly on a budget but for the price paid was happy overall. "

"The minute I walked to reception I was greeted by a super helpful and very happy girl called Carmen. She made check in so simple and she was so helpful. The only fault that I could find with the room was the door frame and door requires some work doing on them. It looked awful. Would I stay there again. A definite yes "

"I loved the hotel, it was beautiful. The staff were very helpful taking my mobility scooter backwards and forwards tonthe parking area. However i was disappointed and surprised that i had to pay €6 a day to park my scooter at the hotel and was not permitted to have in the hotel itself which was difficult to manage as i have very limited mobility and found it very difficult walking around such a large hotel without it."

"Second visit with no bad comments to be made. Simple accommodation which is spotlessly clean with great, friendly staff and a traditional Spanish buffet breakfast. Couldn't recommend higher!"

"Loved our stay in Villa Flora. Made to feel very welcome. Well equipped, comfortable and private with a beautiful pool and sheltered terraces. We did not want for anything.Also not far to drive to safe and quiet sandy beaches. Our stay passed all too quickly."

"We loved the hotel but there are no elevators in the main hotel so if you have a lot of luggage it could be difficult. However, the location is just minutes walk to the main downtown restaurant & shops about 7-8 minutes and there are also restaurants just outside the hotel door as well."

"We felt fortunate to find an available room at 7 Pisos Casa Rural de Pueblo during la Fira de Tots Sants. Lars and his team were very hospitable as was their young cat, Tita, who was loving and playful with my daughter. We loved the charm of Lars' and his wife's 300 year-old renovated building. Their eye for simplicity and style made returning to our room and waking up a pleasure! Our stay ticked all of the boxes: It was on the festival pathway (any noise from passersby stopped by around 10pm), comfortable mattresses, white absorbent large bath towels, modern amenities and a marvelous heated floor in the bathroom. Our room, #2 was very spacious with a small balcony on the street side. We explored upwards and found a communal sun room as well as a rooftop patio that were the "icing on the cake". Our breakfast each morning was served on time and with great care and generosity and in the most beautiful dining/lounge area. Cocentaina is a charming town made more enjoyable by our stay at 7 Pisos Casa Rural de Pueblo. We will return! "
