Great Location
The property is conveniently located a few blocks from the Palm Springs Art Museum, shopping and dining. The property and room were clean and comfortable. The parking area is covered in small rocks so you can’t roll your luggage which could be a problem if you can’t carry your suitcase. The bathroom needs upgrading but the water pressure was good and the water was hot for a shower. The bathroom has its own heater which is nice.

Cute stay right downtown
Overall very cute place and just what we needed. Walking distance to downtown and it’s by everything, very cute neighborhood. Only weird thing is that when we couldn’t find the lock box on the pillar we rang the door bell for assistance and she didn’t seem very happy to help us, not sure if it was property manager or what who lives in #1 but never asked how everything was either the many times we made contact.. Very strange but overall great place and would recommend

Perfect location!’
We were pleasantly surprised arriving here at how close the location is to downtown PS. Directions to the villa were perfect as we were arriving at night. Other guests staying here were very friendly and the pool is the perfect cool place to be in this hot sun. Clean, quiet, and so charming. Would definitely stay here again!!

The property was perfect for a week of hiking and sun. Very close to 3 trails and the pool was perfect for sunning. The location to downtown is perfect with a 2 block walk amd you are there.

We loved the well heated pool steps from our room and being so close to the lively downtown but on such a quiet street. The property is well maintained and tastefully decorated, and the small kitchen had what we needed. Only complaint is that the bath towels were thin and barely bigger than hand towels. But it’s such a lovely spot we’ll stay again.

Great location to Downtown Palm Springs. Walking distance to many stores/restaurants. Clean and tidy, very functional stay. Could have used some hand towels in the bathroom and maybe an ice machine on property. First world problems for sure. Would definitely stay here again!

Super location, historic property that is well maintained, host was super responsive. We will definitely be back! If you have small kids, the pool is literally five steps, no gate, from your room door. It was lovely for us, sparkling and warm, and very accessible. 😎

This little suite grew on us over our 10 day stay. We found it quite cozy and quaint. The bed and bed linens need to be upgraded. Also comfortable chairs would make a difference. The price was high for what we got but this is likely because of the film festival. The location is great and so were the staff.

Awesome location
Amazing location to downtown, easy walk to many spots. Property was clean and comfortable. The room was a little worn and could use a spruce up but I had everything I needed, the pool was really nice and warm, and process to check in was simple. Sometimes hard to get in and out of the front gate when you have your hands full. Otherwise I would stay again!

Sweet Little Getaway
The studio was a bit larger than we expected which was a plus. The little kitchen had everything we needed for our little breakfast routine. The older property was well managed and maintained. The best part was the location. We could walk to everything in downtown Palm Springs, and the lovely art museum was just a few blocks away. I hope to come back!

Perfect Location and Nice Place, But Also Aging
The location of this property is awesome, the vibe is historical, and the amenities, such as the pool area, are nice. The only downside is that the place is definitely showing its age. There are chips, cracks, and decaying wood in places which do detract somewhat. In addition, the flag in the courtyard is shredded, and thus should be removed or replaced. Nevertheless, we found our four night stay here quite enjoyable.

SUGGEST CHANGE NAME TO DESERT HOUSE AS IT WAS AND TO AVOID CONFUSION WITH PALM SPRINGS TENNIS CLUB. SUGGEST YOU PLACE A LEATHER SHIELD OVER THE METAL GATE LOCK TO AVOID BURNING GUESTS' FINGERS.

Property was clean but could use updates. For example no place to place soap or shampoo in the shower and carpet is old. The property as a whole was nice and I enjoyed sitting in the courtyard in the mornings. It’s too loud in the evenings. They do leave you earplugs so that’s yours sign it’s loud at night. It’s a safe place with good parking.

Nice Old-style Motel Room
We didn't receive information needed to find it until we arrived in the neighbourhood. Never did see the owner/manager, but he was quick and helpful to respond through VRBO. The room is old but has been conveniently appointed, over the years. The place is quiet, the pool warm and rarely used, and everything works. The property is the former Desert House Inn. Location to downtown could not be better.

I don’t like to give bad reviews, but I just expected a little bit nicer than what it was. There was no volume control on the TV so we couldn’t even hear anything. Thank goodness for sub titles. Bathroom towels were very cheap and rough. Bed spread could be updated, seemed dirty to me. The coffee was not drinkable, and I need my coffee in the morning. I was not a happy camper. The pool area was nice. It was ok for one night.
