Great Central Location
We spent a week at this property in late October. The central location was close to the airport and just a quick drive to downtown PS. It was easy to get to the other communities in the area along with outlet malls and other sightseeing destinations. The property looks tired and the outdoor spaces looked as if no one had used the property for a long time. The furniture and fixtures worked well, we cooked full meals almost every night. There was contradictory information about the check-in process but it did not affect our ability to get in the property to begin our stay.

Easter retreat
The property is roomy and we'll appointed. Could sleep at least 10 if not 12, though we were only 2. Had all the soap, dish detergent shampoo and things like paper towels trash bags one would normally have to buy. Bath towels,pool towels too. So they seem to supply everything. Furnishings are comfortable and location is great. Nice kitchen and bath updates. Pool nice. Only things needing upgrading are to have a k- cup coffee maker, a better cable TV system some dimmer switches for lighting. But overall a nice place with a wall of windows and a good Palm Springs vibe.

worst house rental experience I've ever had
My booking was from monday thru thursday. I arrived at 11pm on monday nite because couldn't leave until after work in los angeles. Vacasa (the awful property management company) provided me with the entry instructions, which were supposedly "a key pad by the front door" with a 10-digit code. I arrived and there was no keypad on the door. There was only a lockbox with a 4-digit combination lock. I called the after-hours number provided by Vacasa, who put me thru to an agent who had no idea how to help me. She gave me a possible code for the lock box. It did not work. She told me about another keypad on the garage door, but the code she provided did not work. She kept me on hold while making calls for ONE FULL HOUR and was unable to help me gain access to the property. I said, what do I do? Is there another house you could get me into? She said no. She said my only choice was to rent a hotel for the night. Meanwhile it's after midnight in Palm Springs which i'm not familiar with, also i'm dead tired and I have a dog with me. Could she suggest a hotel for me? No, she basically said I was on my own. So, I slept in my car until the early morning when someone finally got back to me and gave me the CORRECT code. (Meanwhile, this meant getting in thru the garage, and opening another door inside with a code, neither of which was mentioned at all in the entry instructions sent to me.) Their excuse was that they newly acquired the house from another company and didn't have the correct info. They offered to refund the night I was unable to get in. Really? That's it? I had a literal nightmare which was entirely their fault and I had to sleep in my car!!!! Finally got into the house. The house is not in good shape. The flooring seemed stained, the towels were cheap white towels which also had weird stains. The garbage cans out back were filled with other people's trash and seemed like they hadn't been collected in weeks. Many of the cabinets didn't close and just hung open awkwardly. The baseboards were filthy and damaged in many places. The pool floats were in a shabby shack, mostly deflated and covered in dirt. There were piles of cardboard boxes and trash in the side alley by the pool. After all this, it was still difficult to contact the company about how I would be compensated. I'm disgusted with VACASA and VRBO should not be doing business with these people. Very very very shady. Hopefully this can be resolved.
