The restaurant is gorgeous although the food was a bit of a hit and miss although has the potential to be something incredible. The staff were lovely and the rooms were gorgeous. Definitely recommend staying here and its perfect for families with young children. "

"The Reef Retreat setting is very nice and tranquil. The only drawback for us was our room was a top floor one. We had lots of suitcases due to our cruise before we disembarked in Cairns. The location is very good and close to many restaurants. The room was comfortably and had everything we needed."
