The Penthouse San Matteo is located in the heart of the historic center of Palermo just a 5-minute walk from the "four corners" or the intersection of two main streets of Palermo, Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Via Maqueda, which rise beautiful buildings of 700 '.
A few meters from the entrance of the structure there are monuments, markets, museums that animate the historic center of Palermo, among the most famous fountain of Piazza Pretoria, the Vucciria market, Palermo's Cathedral. All perfectly connected.

Perfect location in Centro Storico
We are an older couple and loved this apartment! It is in the heart of the historic centre within easy walking distance of everything : historic buildings, cafes, restaurants, etc. The apartment is on the top floor in a newer building. The patio gives amazing views ! ! ! And it is very quiet at night. 👍 👍

Staff was very helpful, place clean, bed excellent, kitchen fine for light cooking, too small for anything fancy but fine for breakfast and lunch. Location near Quattro Canti was excellent. Fantastic apartment!
Excellent apartment! Practically new apartment right in the city center. 5th floor with a spacious terrace overlooking San Matteo's church and roofs of Palermo. Building is equipped with an elevator and has a concierge during day time. Great location with walking distance to all Palermo's most interesting places and churches. I would highly recommend this place.

Week in Palermo
I spent a week in Palermo and the property was perfectly located for exploring this amazing city. The apartment was clean and had plenty of room. I appreciated the outdoor deck for morning coffee and afternoon relaxing. At night there was silence, no problems with any street noise at all. Note, if renting a car, make sure it is not too large, the alleyway to gain access to the parking garage is very, very narrow!

Great property, fabulous, central location, but where the apartment is situated in the building, it was so peaceful and quiet. Really enjoyed sitting out on the large terrace in the evenings. This property was very clean, with excellent amenities, and very well presented. And having a washing machine was a real bonus. Also provided was information about shopping, taxi service, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Easy walk to central train station. From my very first contact in regard to this booking, everything was handled professionally and promptly, and the host Bernardo and his family were ever so helpful and happy to assist with any query we had. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It was extremely relaxing, and we felt very welcome and comfortable in this apartment. It is also located in a very interesting street with some lovely shops, cafes, restaurants, and a number of beautiful historic landmarks. Loved the apartment, and Palermo.

Mooie locatie
Het appartement zit op een mooie locatie in het centrum. Auto kan je laten parkeren onder het appartementencomplex en voor een prima prijs. Appartement was schoon en wat ook een groot pluspunt is dat je niks hoort van de kamers naast je. Voor vragen konden we bij Andrea terecht. Het is zeker een aanrader.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at Penthouse San Matteo. It is very centrally located, quiet and had a nice view. The unit was spartan but clean. The shower was a little on the small side but the hot water was ample and the pressure was good. The kitchen lacked a microwave but did have a toaster oven. There was not a proper kettle but the hot pot was just big enough to make two cups of tea at a time. It could also use a decent frying pan. We appreciated the management holding out bags in the office the last day between check-out and our departure. Overall, for the price, the unit was good. I'm not sure what the 35 euro additional fee to HomeAway did for us but we appreciated the location of unit enough to overlook it.

Posizione perfetta, la città vecchia con tutti i suoi interessanti mandamenti raggiungibile a piedi. Tranquillissimo nonostante sia nel cuore della città, dalla terrazza vista pittoresca da dietro il campanile di san Matteo adiacente. We spent a weekend in Penthouse San Matteo and our only regret was we didn't have more time. The apartment was clean and bright. Everything felt new. The bathroom was updated and efficient. The bedroom was comfortable with a balcony and a great bed. The balcony off the living area was furnished with a table and chairs and was very comfortable for enjoying some sun and relaxation. Penthouse San Matteo is in the heart of Palermo. You can easily reach all the sights by foot. Next time I'm in Palermo I will definitely stay here and for more than 2 nights.

Great location for short stay
The only complaint I have is the apartment is advertised as 2 bedrooms when it actually only has 1. The other room is the living area with a sofa bed. This is misleading information. The apartment is central for exploring Palermo which was the best part.
