Worst experience ever Let me start off by saying I have booked numerous apartments and hotels from Hotels.com. I have never ever run into a situation like this. We had the washing machine running, literally just started a minute in and the air conditioning on when the power went out. We called the host and he said he doesn’t work 24 hours that we would have to wait till morning. We were in pitch darkness that I fell over the coffee table and hurt my arm. There were no flashlights, no candles. then he told me to go downstairs outside to look for a fuse box which initially I did, but could only find the fuse box for the elevator. His response was will look better. It was after midnight I was not gonna go back downstairs alone, trying to look for a fuse box I am no ELECTRICIAN . There is only an elevator and no access to get out of there in case of a fire or in case of an emergency. Very worrisome. So basically you can’t have every air conditioning in every room running only one at a time??? This host was not accommodating at all. He was rude and He could care less that we were in pitch darkness with no air conditioning in over 30° weather in the evening. Also, this apartment is next to an outdoor area in Sicily they called vuccaria where they play the absolute loudest music from 11 PM till 6 AM in the morning. That’s right you read right 6 AM in the morning loud house music industrial rock etc… overall, this property is Extremely unsafe host only cares about money.
