"An excellent apartment (we were in Unit G with the outside balcony). While we found the inside space to be a bit “tight,” we found the two decks to be beyond spacious. The view is fantastic and the locale is ideal for the waterfront area. The apartment was absolutely immaculate upon arrival. Self check-in was clearly communicated and the hosts were very proactive in outreach. The kitchen was small but adequately provisioned — and everything works perfectly. The pictures actually do not do this place justice….it is better than it looks. Even in such a small space, they had a washing machine. We just wish there was a little more space to hang things/put thing away. We ultimately extended our stay here an extra day given how much we liked both the community and the apartment."

"You could not be more central in Sitia and yet it’s reasonably quiet. The flat is done up to a high standard, all very new and modern. It’s definitely a studio so I’d recommend more for a short stay than an extended stay. The host was very helpful and friendly so am happy to recommend. "

"Our holiday in the Villa met all our high expectations. The Villa has superb accommodation and outside areas and facilities. The Management Company looked after a couple of issues which arose, including loss of hot water, very quickly. Makry Gialos is a fantastic and authentic resort, away from the tourist hot spots. "What a beautiful retreat! This was such an amazing place with wonderful staff. Everything was gorgeous, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was incredible. Watching the sunset with a glass of wine at dinner was my favorite part of my Greece trip so far. I’m in love with the place and can’t wait to come back. I will recommend it to my family and friends "
