"Let me start out by saying getting to the Hotel is not the easiest. The hotel will send you a message telling you to call when you get to the area and they will guide you in a GPS will not navigate inside the city. What the message should include is "Via Vittorio Veneto, 44, 70022 Altamura BA, Italy" this is the entrance. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the staff is friendly and helpful. "This place is amazing. It was built as a winery in 1600’s and now it has been converted into a hotel. The architecture and interior finish is beautiful. The grounds and pool are meticulously maintained. It was a treat to have a full hot breakfast rather than the usual continental. It was very quiet however we were there in October."

"Hotel was ok, staff were friendly, however having had a 10 hour working day I was booked into here because it had a restaurant, only to discover that it's shut on Sundays. Had it said this on the website we would not have booked it. By the time I booked in I was too tired to drive into the nearest town for food and had to make do with a bag of crisps. They wouldn't even make a sandwich for me. The room was ok but there was a lot of black mould in the shower."

"Did not even come close to our expectations. We checked in just to have somewhere to catch our breath and look for alternative accommodation. Left without talking to the host as we didn't want to waste any more time there. It was a converted garage and the so called courtyard was non excistent as your car needed to be parked in what was in fact the driweway."
