We had a car which made it much easier to get to: local quiet beaches; Calvi; evening concerts in hilltop villages; and mountain walks. Would be difficult without a car I think, especially out of high season July/Aug when the trains run more often. Friendly host family, good daily market in the town, supermarkets walkable, lots of restaurants."

"This appartment is really special . It is in a remote mountain village , which adds to the charm . For great value you have 5 star swimming pool, spectacular views from the front windows of the whole bay , and all with the charm of a quiet mountain village location . The caretaker is present and helpful and kind. Lots to do for mountain walkers and cyclists . Grocery stores are harder to find and there’s none in the village , but the hotel and restaurants next door were great for local food...

"The concierge Mohhmed was fantastic!! He made the stay great. The apartment was as shown in the photos. It was very clean. A great location after a long day! The internet was terrible. I'm not sure if it was the location or the router and equipment, but if your world revolves around the internet this will not be for you. The other issue was that the beds were extremely hard. Not very firm, but very hard. If these two things are not an issue for you then this is the perfect place near Ile Rousse!"

"This apartment is actually part of a hotel, Les Arbousiers. It is as advertised, except the air conditioning (a wall unit) does not effectively cool the bedrooms. Very hot to sleep at night. It’s very close to the beach and shops, and the hotel front desk concierge, Guillien, was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. He even made us a lunch reservation. Non si riesce minimamente a capire dove è esattamente la locìation per il check in (solo contattando telefonicamente l'host e con l'aiuto di un ragazzo del luogo siamo riusciti ad entrare nel bilocale. In ultimo, fattore fondamentale, l'host ha impiegato quasi 1 mese per rimborsare 4 giorni da lui cancellati unilateralmente e poco prima del ns arrivo...
