The villa is located on a hill with breathtaking views of olive trees and rolling hills. Location is closer to the Palaia village and the nearest rail station. It was difficult to find the villa on the first day, you need to be able to get directions from the property manager after you reach the Palaia village. The welcome basket was lovely and the property manager, Mr. was very helpful. You need a car with good driving skill.
The property is new with high end furniture/fittings, linen, well equipped kitchen. The enclosed back verandah is with furnished sit-out and dining area with breath taking views of the sunset. It is surrounded with safe walking and biking paths. It is reasonably priced. You can visit surrounding areas including Florence and a Michelin recommended restaurant, Papaveri e Papere, very reasonably priced. There are excellent dining areas in the Palaia village but reservation is a must. 5 days or more stay is a must to take in the beauty of the Villa and Tuscany.
