Great view!
I made this choice for 2 main reasons: the view and being walking distance from the city center to allow independence for young adults to go to restaurants or other sports activities autonomously. On both counts the selection was perfect! Calella is also a cosy small city, with a nice atmosphere and architecturally beautiful with great, diverse restaurants! The villa is spacious well conceived (Joao is an architect!). Decoration is sparse and functional. Kitchen adequately equipped. This villa is part of a 4 villa complex one next to the other. We stayed 3 weeks in August and we were very lucky with our neighbors who were mostly very respectful in terms of noise. The swimming pool is really nice to have as in August the beaches accessible via stairs from the the house can be quite busy. Joao shared with us that he is even going to improve the garden and swimming pool soon! We recommend this villa and Joao who is very reactive!

Un agréable séjour
Une villa agréable à vivre, une belle vue comme indiquée sur l’annonce , literie confortable, quartier calme, proche des plages dont la golfette, une belle terrasse qui mériterait d’être « karcherisée » car bien sale, un jardin de belle taille mais qui n’est pas manucuré, et un garage très pratique . Accueil très sympathique et belle réactivité du propriétaire. J’ai regretté le manque de propreté de la cuisine et les erreurs dans l’annonce. Il n’y a que 2 salles de bain et non 3 comme indiqué dans l’annonce, tout comme la non présence de climatisation.

Perfect location
The location of this property is outstanding. It has a beautiful sea view, spacious garden, and the beach and Camino de Ronda are at walking distance. We walked the cami to Calellla a few times, which has stunning views. The house is very comfortable and having a garage is convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the terrace and swimming in the pool. We hope to return!

Maison très bien placée ; très jolie crique à 5 minutes à pied mais surpeuplée en août à partir de 10h ! Nos ados pouvait sortir en ville le soir à pied ; sites touristiques remarquables proches 1/2h de voiture ; équipement et propreté correcte.

Maison agréable proche de la plage de Golfet
La maison est bien située, le propriétaire est disponible et à l'écoute. La maison mériterait un meilleur équipement ménager , une literie plus confortable et la mise en place d'une sécurisation de la piscine nécessaire par rapport aux enfants en bas âges. Il n'en reste pas moins que notre séjour s'est bien passé.

Perfect!
We spent three weeks at Popeta's house. It's a quiet place to stay at summer. The beach is two minutes walking through a little and beautyful road. The house is big and mediterranean, good decoration and very useful. It's a paradise to stay here. We had the village 10 minutes walking. The attention of the ower to us was excelent. We will return this summer and the next.

Villa La Popeta
We stayed at Villa La Popeta in Callela de Palafrugell in the June half term holidays with two teenage children. The Villa was modern, clean and spacious with a garden and swimming pool with views of the sea through the trees. It was a quiet residential area about ten minutes walk to the town which had just enough seafront restaurants to keep us going for the week. I would imagine they would get very busy in July/August when the Spanish have their summer holidays. We spent some time snorkelling at the lovely little beach about 2 minutes walk away. Our 14 year old daughter and her friend walked to the town beach most days and seemed to keep themselves entertained but its probably not for older teenagers who are looking for action and nightlife although its probably there if you know were to look. It's definately not for the lager louts though. Callela de Palafrugell and next door Llafranc are both very pretty little towns and its a lovely walk between the two, about half an hour at a stroll. Would recommend it for a relaxing holiday.
