"The property was quite old and run down but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Also the resin I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 stars is that the price is not bad, and I believe most hotels in the area are similar. The onsen is good but also other hotels have them as well. I guess this is one of the most famous ones. "

"The nearest train station is about 12~15 mins walk. It was raining and the staff called a taxi for me. Staff told me that some taxis were not willing to come because the destination was too near. Very nice and helpful staffs. Some staff do not speak English. It is advisable to have a translation app. "

Outstanding 2-Week Stay at Hound Hotel

"After checking out several hotels in the area and evaluating both the staff and rooms, I ultimately chose Hound Hotel—and I’m so glad I did. The staff truly made the difference, creating a warm and welcoming environment. They were incredibly kind, generous, and always put the needs of their guests first. The hotel itself is exceptionally well-maintained, and the cleanliness of both the property and my room exceeded my expectations. A major convenience was the on-site laundry machine and dryer available for guests. Another great perk was the ample free parking. Overall, my experience at Hound Hotel was fantastic. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for lodging in the area."
