"We loved the hotel’s position right on the beach. The staff were very friendly. But could be better with just a few tweaks, like some chairs need cushions on. Less time waiting for orders to be taken and food did take a while sometimes. Rooms were good but being an older couple the stairs were an issue for us as there is no lift. We would stay again if we come back here to see our son as it was a nice break to recuperate after a long flight."

"Manager was very helpful and made every effort to meet our needs. Has laundry service available. Need to remember that not all toiletries are included, like shampoo. Only has stairs to all rooms. Convenient to have a kitchenette available with a few dishes. Bathroom and shower were clean and worked well. Overall a great stay for the price. "

"It was probably worse place I stayed the whole 3 weeks I was in Mauritius. My dhower doors were broken and the drain in the shower would not drain, so it flooded the bathroom and there were a lot of bugs in my Room"

"The unique thing about this property is that Gert and Marlene treat everyone as individuals and you soon feel part of the family. They have really taken on board the Mauritian way and that translates into a really relaxed vibe. Wonderful food and a great night's sleep! Highly recommend if you want an authentic experience that is a stone's throw from a paradise beach!"

"A lovely, small guest house, with great hosts and staff and easy access to the beach. There is one good restaurant, which is open 6 days of the week, and other dining options are at a Fried chicken take away and a burger shop/cafe. "

"1st night no hot water. Geyser didn’t work. Aircons don’t work. Cockroaches in room. No soaps, shampoo, etc. They don’t accept cards and only told me this when I wanted to settle my bill the night prior to check out. The owner insisted on me walking almost 2km to go withdraw cash at 9pm. Which was a major inconvenience. I will never stay there again. NEVER!!!"

"The hosts at the guest house were so fantastic and helpful! One night the taxi was late, so they drove me. "

It was away from the traffic and about 10 minutes away from the grocery store, restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed Kris' company. He had our breakfast ready rain or shine. "Amazing stay at Constance Belle Mare Plage. A large resort with beautiful landscaped gardens, three choices of swimming pools, seven excellent restaurants, great spa and gym and easy access to the vast beach, which is stunning. We stayed in a villa and it was superb, incredible hospitality by the villa masters. If you are a golfer, look no further as two championship golf courses are on the resort grounds and they are probably the best Mauritius has to offer having played most other courses here. Can’t fault the Constance Belle Mare Plage and hope to return very soon."

"Very family friendly hotel in a beautiful setting. Kids club had a variety of fun activities and food choices for our 1.5yr and 4yr kids were surprisingly great with nutritious healthy options available. Room was very comfortable and well equipped, could’ve been a bit cleaner at times."

"This property is located in a beautiful beachfront neighborhood of the Island. I traveled solo and felt extremely safe. Security guards were surrounded the area 24/7. I was welcomed by a gorgeous and well spoken front desk staff named Fatima. Fortunately, she gave me the best room facing the ocean and it has a balcony. The air conditioning worked perfectly and I had breakfast delivered to my room daily. I highly recommended this property if you ever decided to visit the island of Mauritius. A shoutout to Vrishna for helping me with everything I needed. "
