I liked that my room was close to shower and toilets and my mobility walker could get around without too much hassle. My room was also on the far side of the bar next door so I slept quite soundly. The staff at reception on sign in was very accommodating and friendly. The shower pressure and temperature was great. Thank you Bay Adventurer for a great stay!

Room 8 was spacious and comfortable for a family with children. Would have loved to have a fan available as its too muggy, and also, so we could close the windows when things got too loud outside (we have a baby) :). A tile moved everytime we went into the bathroom as the grouting was coming out. There were stains on the sheets and the outdoor deck floor was sticky to walk on. Would have also been good to have an option for dish sponge or brush so we could wash dishes faster than the dishwasher. There were also way too many ants that entered the room to eat food. In the rubbish. Although the cleanliness wasn't top notch the room was spacious and fulfilled our needs. The staff are friendly and welcoming too.

The apartment was dirty. Looks like the balcony has never been cleaned. The tiles in bathroom are coming off. There is pub next door so the nihhts were very noisy. Thats not Bay Adventurers fault but people need to keep that in mind especially if travelling with kids.

Very nice stay in perfect location
A lovely stay in a great location that is close to the town, beach and wharf. The receptionists were all friendly and hospitable too. The Wifi did not work properly was only the problem.

Great location on the backpacker street in Paihia. We had a private double room and it was good, the only complaint was the bed was really uncomfortable. The shared shower was great though. Good for a quick one-night stay.

Nice hostel, quiet and close to the beach. Hostel was kind of dirty, especially the bathroom. Soap was finished for 3 days en the shower can only get very warm or cold.

Fairly clean hostel with really comfy mattresses. Pool was clean but I didn’t swim so I don’t know if it was warm or not. Would definitely recommend to other travelers.
