Right on the fabled road to Hana just one mile east of Paia Town, this little gem of a hideway offers a sampling of both sides of Maui, "mauka" (toward the mountain) and "makai" (toward the sea): From this home's front entryway, an unobstructed view of majestic Haleakala and the surrounding peaceful green pastures; from the lanai, a sweep of palm trees and the sound of the ocean crashing on the beach a stone's throw away. You will love this resort ambience at an affordable price!

Im really enjoyed at this property. It’s nearby beach, restaurants, and the most important thing that it’s at the beginning of “Road to Hana”, a must to visit in Maui.
The condo is perfectly located to start Hana Road early. Paia is a really cute town and the beaches near by are all nice. The AC is in the main room and we didn’t hear the road like other comments suggested
Stayed here while visiting family on the island. Unit was clean, except for the tiny bugs that were in the bathroom. They were all over the sink and got in my pill box. Not sure what they were, but that was disappointing.Water pressure in the shower was great. There is a light on the outside of the unit that makes it very bright in the bedroom when trying to sleep, and the noise from the street is pretty loud. It worked out okay for us because we weren’t around except to sleep, and with earplugs and eye masks we were able to do so. Great proximity to Kuau store where you can pick up beverages and take away food as well as necessities. I will probably look for something better equipped when we come back in a few months.
Our stay here was outstanding and a great location to start your road trip to Hana. Plus there was quick beach access less than 5 min walk. The host did a very nice job in communicating with us. Paia was a quaint town with local shops where you can find almost everything you need for a lay back vacation.
My husband and I stayed here to visit family that live in Hauku .
Location was great. Nice to be able to walk to Mamas beach.
The condo is pretty well equipped.
Wish it had a better outdoor lounge space on the lanai.
Bedroom is located in the front so if you don’t have the loud air conditioner on you can hear the cars on the highway.
All and all we were had a great stay.
And would definitely consider coming back.
We enjoyed the condo and the location. One small issue was that the sliding door to the lanai was finicky and took us a while to open. That also reflected a general sense that, although we enjoyed our stay, we found the property to be older with few updates. This was not a problem but a bit surprising given what we paid. The price may be due to our short stay, the season and the desirability of the area. All good.
