"We had an amazing time on our trip. The cottage is clean and stocked with everyday kitchen items like pans, plates, coffee mugs, coffee pot etc. Dish soap is provided. "Tranquility, walking distance to the Black Sand beach. Clean, washer and dryer was very convenient. The bed and pillows were amazing! Front desk very friendly and accommodating. Love this place, hope to come back again."

No restaurants in Pahala however a nice 7 mile drive to the town of Naalehu takes care of this matter.

It is a quiet, small town in a beautiful spot that exemplifies a different time on Hawaii. That does cut both ways a bit, though, of course, don't come out expecting bright lights and show tunes.
