New Hot Tub! Secluded Cabin, overlook Lake Pagosa on 39 acres, No Neighbors!

If you are looking for a great cabin for a large group, on acreage with no neighbors, yet 3-4 minutes from Hwy 160, just above Lake Pagosa... then this cabin is for you. New Hot Tub recently added!

This is a simple cabin with plenty of space to hike, sled or show shoe on the property and plenty of land to play group games and explore. You enter the cabin from the large covered porch, perfect for coffee in the AM or wine in the afternoon. As you enter, on one side is the spacious kitchen that's perfect for cooking for the whole gang and plenty of kitchen items. Off the kitchen is the dining area with French Doors to the porch. Past the kitchen is a full bathroom, then a large laundry room . On the other side of the entry is the comfortable living room with plenty of space for all to hang out, gas fire place and large TV mounted on the wall. There is another full bathroom off the living room. Outside the kitchen is the gas grill.

Up the stairs from the living room are 3 bedrooms and another large full bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have king beds and the third bedroom has twin bunk beds and a queen bed, with it's own TV.

This cabin does not have any neighbors so you don't have to worry about upsetting or hearing the neighbors. It's an amazing property and you 'll enjoy it fully. We do recommend a 4WD vehicle during winter months.

ALL TRAILERS, RV'S, CAMPERS OR OTHER RECREATION VEHICLES MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL TO BE ALLOWED ON PREMISES.

This is a dog friendly home with a $75 per dog fee, plus an additional $100 per dog refundable deposit. 2 dogs, max. Message us for details on the pet policy.

This home does not have AC.
There is no swimming allowed in the lakes and this home is not within PLPOA district so can't fish in the pagosa lakes either.

Great stay in Pagosa!
Loved the secluded property. Lots of privacy. Enjoyed sitting on the large porch and watching all the deer and once even saw a fox. The hot tub was great! Would definitely stay here again!

Great getaway
Wanted to get out of the city for a few days and this more than met our needs! The property was absolutely beautiful; it felt like we had a mountain to ourselves. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. And the abundant wildlife watching was a welcome addition to our stay.

Pagosa Springs cabin
We enjoyed the cabin and especially the land surrounding it. Our only complaint would be the master bed; it slopes inward, and was difficult to sleep in. That might be the one thing needed before we revisit. Otherwise, it was awesome and our kids loved it.

Great setting and not far from town
The photos were accurate for both setting and property condition. We really enjoyed the location, the front porch, and the wildlife. The house itself is a bit tired but the pics are accurate and things were clean. Kitchen was well-equipped. Nice hot tub. Very private. Would return.

Private Getaway in the Mountains
Great property for more then people! Home has 3 full baths and a wonderful kitchen and dining area for meal preparation! All the bedrooms are upstairs which was great for us as you can watch TV downstairs and not disturb any of your sleeping guests! Beautiful trees surround the property anf good for walks. We had over a foot of snow during our stay so the kids were able to sled down the hills. What we loved rhe most was we were secluded yet close to Pagosa Springs, Wolf Creek for skiing and an hour from Durango. We would definitely stay there again!

The beds are incredibly comfortable and the furniture is perfect for a home away from home. We plan on renting this cabin over and over and over again! I can’t say enough good things about it our dogs loved it and our family did too we made some incredible memories. It is super close to town but also very secluded and private feeling.

Good cabin
It was a good cabin on a beautiful and large area of land. Overall it was pretty clean but there were dead flies everywhere. In the kids bedroom with the bunk beds the windowsill had about 75-100 dead flies which grossed them out. Also, we specifically booked the cabin because it was close to a lake. VRBO website made it seem like the house was on a lake since we filtered it to be lakeside. We did not have access to the lake because it was private. That but of info would have been nice to know upfront.

Overall good stay the house is an older house kitchen is new and good the up stairs toilet broke while there but didn’t bother us do to two bathrooms down stairs. There is a ton of beds and room for the whole family but only one upstairs bathroom, all beds are upstairs This house is set off up on hillside very quiet and peaceful with trees around it The hot tub was very nice after hunting or long hikes. It needs a better pathway and steps to hot tub but was great for us. Only two issues I would love to see happen is a lot more lights added to outside surrounding home and the upstairs toilet fixed. I would come and stay again and 100% recommend this home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were in need of a quick get away, somewhat close to town to rest our busy lives. We arrived shortly before dinner to a lovely and very spacious cabin adorned with lots of snow to set the winter retreat. The house is well lit, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The house sits away from the small town of Pagosa whish was perfect perfect for our family and our dogs. The large living with 3 couches, a big screen tv and a gas stove to watch movies and or read books. Three is two spacious large bedrooms for adults and two smaller bedrooms. The bathrooms were were clean. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped with spices and pots and pans and any other necessary tools that wee needed to prepare our food for each meal. The hot tub was perfect after we took a three hour hike on the property looking at elk and turkey tracks. Sleds and snow shovels are provided and there is plenty of parking. We will be back for a girl weekend and maybe another trip with or without the kids.

Some really nice things, but many things need attention
We have stayed in MANY VRBO properties over the years, so we're familiar with the range in quality regarding cleanliness, decor, amenities, communication, etc. I will list what we felt were the pros and cons of our stay. PROS: - Great location, very quiet, private and secluded. - Nice hot tub. - Nice new appliances in the kitchen. - Very responsive and helpful communication with the property manager. - Wifi worked well. CONS: - Somehow the pictures on-line made it look much nicer than it ended up looking in person. - Many random lightbulbs need to be replaced throughout the house. Odd light fixtures that look cool, but are sometimes challenging to turn on. - Our bed collapsed on us 3 times! And we were literally just getting in it or turning over. (It's a King and the middle row of legs supporting it kept bending like they weren't bolted in properly. Repairman came to fix it, but it still caved in again.) - Leak under kitchen sink. Repairman said it was from the garbage disposal and that there was a big plastic bowl to catch the water until it could be replaced. - No window covering in upstairs bathroom. - It really just needs a deep cleaning and some rearranging of furniture to help it be more comfortable.

Have stayed at many places in Pagosa Springs but this stay was by far the Best! House was great and the attention to detail by the representative Natalee was FANTASTIC!! Would stay here again and again and again!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival the hot tub was disgusting. Full of dirt with a thick scum line 2 inches above the water and some kind of stuff stuck to the water intake. When I notified the concierge all I kept being told was that it had been serviced that morning. When somebody came out the next day they cleaned it which was great but they over chlorinated the water so much it was off the charts on testers and would have been dangerous for anyone to sit in. I had to use a large bowl to scoop out water and fill with clean hose water in an attempt to help balance it. Every time I spoke with the concierge or the manager I was met with attitude and zero accountability. The issue was consistently being spun around on me some how which was infuriating. The manager made a point to tell me how expensive it was to have someone come out to clean it "on my request". Moving on from the hot tub and terrible mamagement/customer service... one of the couches i went to sit on there were dried boogers on the arm rest. There was trash under another couch. The bathroom upstairs had questionable substances on the walls next to the sink. One of the bedrooms smelled like something had died and was rotting in it. I noticed the smoke detector upstairs had the battery compartment left open with no battery in it, a safety issue. I didn't approach the company with this because of how they treated me with the hot tub. Would never use this company again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We knew it would be wonderful, but this was WONDERFUL!! The house is incredible - lots of space & perfect for families. There were a total of 8 of us/two families: the 4 adults took up both the big, master bedrooms, and the 4 kids took the other spots (the two younger ones (5&6) took the bunkbeds, the 8yo took the big bed in the room, and the 13yo took the room attached to the kid/master bedroom). There was plenty of space and everyone was happy! PLUS - the noise blocking abilities of the house were phenomenal. We spent a whole lot of time outside either on the porch, around the fire pit, or at the table. We saw LOTS of wildlife: deer (a couple bucks, several does, and a baby!!), many lizards, a crazy amount of hummingbirds, a fox, an entire family of turkeys, and chipmunks! The house is well stocked and very comfortable. We highly recommend and would most definitely stay there again. The only negative is that there is no air conditioning and during the day/early night was very warm & uncomfortable. However, they had plenty of fans in the windows which helped immensely at night with cooling it down.

Loved the lay out of the cabin and plenty of room when we gathered as a family to eat. Our granddaughter thought all the lamps were “ so cool and interesting “. She loved getting to sleep in the bunk beds in her own room. All the furniture was so nice. Felt really warm and homey.

Reviewer Comments: The house is really pretty, well equipped and very functional.We were caught in a Winter storm, so we lost power for one day and couldn't drive our vehicle out until another day, but the property managers went out of their way to help out and provide basic amenities.If you have to be snowed in, this is a great house to kill time with large outdoors and spacious inside. The access road is uphill, so a 4-wheel drive helps in case of snow/ice.
