"What a GEM of a place! The gentlemen at the BnB was kind and works really hard to keep this place in tip top shape. He is kind, welcoming, and very helpful. The BnB is very clean and comfortable, everything we expected and more. I wished we had plan a day or two longer in Assisi, we would have been at home here. I hope to return to Assisi in the future and given the amazing stay and great hospitality we were shown, I would choose and recommend Alter Ego again and again! Bravo SIR, you are doing...

"Portica 10 is amazing!! The husband and wife who own this beautiful property are wonderful in every way. The little details they have put into every corner as well as into the breakfast are lovely. We truly enjoyed every minute we spent there and highly recommend that you stay here. It is in the heart of the oldest part of Assisi, centrally located to all of the important sites, but all of the amenities in Portica 10 are modern. I really cannot say enough great things about this property."

"We only stayed for 2 nights as we wanted to visit Assisi town. The B&B is located about 10 min drive to town. The unit had a kitchen, 2 bedroom and 1 toilet. No air conditioning. No restaurant on site and no restaurant nearby, you need to drive to town. The swimming pool is small but functional, and is located at the bottom of the hill, there are also cute chickens walking around."

"At the arrival time (4:40pm) the heating was not working. My room was cold and the bathroom had no hot water. The staff came and after three and half hours, it has started working. I was moved into another room with hot water, but the heating was off. Still, the room was not warm till 8:15pm. The staff was supportive, but they should have checked the heating before my arrival. The location is great and the breakfast is offered at a small pastry (200m from the property)."

"Upon arrival and making it into the building, we were faced with 3 rooms. We had no idea which room was ours and none of our emails from SCP indicated the name of our room. We had to write and wait for info. We were in the Lorenzo room which was down a dreaded, tight spiral staircase. The room was basically clean if you overlooked the dead bugs along the window sill in the bathroom. Warning: no fridge in the room so good luck keeping your vodka cold. And when attempting to open the outside entry...
