This is not the first time I have encountered this deceptive practice. When I do, no one will take responsibility -- just finger pointing, then everyone shrugs as if to say "It's the customer's fault. The shouldn't have trusted us." Guess what, you're right. "We booked a "superior twin room" for this stay, which turned out to be a large suite on the first floor of a large, old stone mansion. Huge bedroom with a good heat pump, along with a frigidly cold bathroom and similar frozen sitting room. There's a large shared veranda at the rear as well. This would be 5-star accomodations in the summer, with the high ceilings and spacious surroundings.
