"Close to Fundao and Covilha this location is perfect for those who like to be surrounded by nature yet close to town. The house is nice, yet rustic. As it mentions it’s off the grid, the house is heated by the fireplace, which is connected to a boiler system that also heats the towel rack and the 2 radiators in the bedrooms. Since we stayed in November that meant we to make a fire every night we came home from touring the area / visiting friends. It was a little more work than expected :). There...

"The property was stunning. Eleana, the property manager, was timely and always provided excellent suggestions. This is your place if you want something quiet and off the beaten path. Not to mention the delicious breakfast with fresh milk, juice, meats, cheese, coffee, bread, and yogurt. I wholeheartedly recommend this place without reservations. "

The hosts were remarkably warm, helpful, and friendly, and the house was charming with nice outdoor options--garden, patio/balcony, bbq, and just down the road a beautiful little river with places to swim with no one around. "Luna Chalet are rustic chalets, and I must admit that the unit given to us was very comfortable with great views. Nice bedding, good towels, all dishes and soap needed. The only negative is that they supply the nespresso type machines but with no pods. It would have been nice to have coffee in the morning. A lot of channels on the television also. I strongly recommend the chalet. "

"The perfect spot to relax and unwind, this is a little piece of heaven. Susana makes the most divine mirtle jam which was wonderful for breakfast on the terrace. We can’t wait for an excuse to return."

"Hotel localizado a 5 km de Nelas, em frente às termas de Caldas da Felgueira. Nessa localidade nao há lojas ou mercados, somente em Nelas. Devido ao Covid, os restaurantes estavam fechados. Os quartos desse hotel tem um bom tamanho, com cozinha, o que facilita a estadia. O banheiro é com, com banheira. O pessoal é simpático e agradável. "

Amazing hotel.

"The hotel was stunning, a modern mountain vibe. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The pools are spectacular, we had seen a photo of these and that was why we visited. We were not disappointed, cave like steam rooms and saunas, multiple pools. The entire experience was extremely enjoyable and we will go back. I should also mention the bar food was to a very high standard, reasonable prices and large portions. "

"The facilities and amenities are very nice and unique. Based on the fruit theme which the area is known for, it is a cherry lovers must-do. Every member of the staff is exceptional in their professionalism. I cannot say enough good things about Cherry Sculptures Hotel, and I highly recommend a stay to anyone that may be in the Covilhã area."
