Named for the Lily Basin Trail, this larger corner queen room is light-filled and inviting. There is a clothing shelf, dresser and bench. From the northeast Smith Street corner of the building, watch the sun rise over Snyder Mountain to the east and the birds in thebig old fir trees to the north. If you peek in between and down the block, you might see the comings and goings in the beer garden behindthe Blue Spruce, a favorite local gathering place.
This is one of nine unique rooms and suites, each decorated with combinations of William Morris wallpapers and light and dark hues. All are named for local hiking trails. The hotel has two main floors and an old-west covered wrap-around deck ideal for lounging and gathering. Eight of the guest rooms and suites are on the hotel's second floor, with the ninth in the adjacent ground level cabin. Each room accommodates one or two guests,age 18and over. All second floor rooms and suites are accessed by stairs.
Five hotel suites have private bathrooms with tiled showers. Four have access to two shared bathrooms and showers a few steps down the second floor hall. Each guest bathroom in the main hotel boasts classic black and white hex tile floors and subway tile showers.
Amenities include free wifi, thoughtfully sourced plush towels, luxury bedding, two types of pillows, luggage racks, hair dryers, Comphy embroidered robes, and Public Goods bath products. Full length room-darkening curtains insulate for sound and temperature and encourage deep restful sleep. Additional toiletry items are available upon request (toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, insect repellant, q-tips, emery boards, personal feminine items). A phone is located in the lobby if guests need to make a call. Locally roasted coffee is served every morning, with breakfast service coming soon!
