Prepare to be mesmerized by the dazzling ocean views from this amazing beach house. One home away from Ocean View Boulevard, it is steps from the water and the coastal recreational trail: turn right to visit the Aquarium and Cannery Row, or head in the other direction to commune with sea lions and sea otters on your way to Lover’s Point Beach.  The living room has a huge TV over an electric fireplace, and the dining area seats six—both have views to die for. The well-equipped kitchen features a professional four-burner gas range and a built-in Viking microwave/convection oven—but there are restaurants galore close by. Stairs lead to the loft/office with a desk and a huge TV (if you can tear yourself away from the very blue horizons). The adjoining master bedroom has a King bed, a dressing room and closet, and a spectacular balcony with—you guessed it—more ocean views. The ensuite master bath has a walk-in shower and a clawfoot tub. Two guest rooms on the first floor with Queen beds share a full bath with a tub/shower, and there's a private backyard with a dining table and barbecue. “Wow!” may be the first word you utter when you enter, and “when can I return?” will likely be the last.  Pacific Grove Transient Use License #0476

We spent a week at Seafarer over Thanksgiving. The house is clean and spacious. The location is unbeatable. We loved being able to step outside and walk along the coast. Or go the other direction to grab coffee at a lovely local cafe.

Beautiful property close to everything
The space is stunning, particularly the view from the primary bedroom, and we truly appreciated the proximity to town while being on a quiet side street. The beds were comfortable and the house very well suited to relaxed gathering. My only suggestions might be to have coffee and tea available in the house (keurig machines are ever present these days) and perhaps an inclusion in your binder of policy for the house some local recommendations and reviews of area dining and attractions.

Fabulous place
We spent 4 days at Seafarer and will always remember them. Waking up to the view of the bay each morning and seeing otters, seals and even whale blow holes was amazing. The house was immaculately presented and had every conceivable item in the kitchen you could need.

Great family holiday trip.
The house was wonderful as described. Walking distance to Cannery Row and easy access to all the sights. The house was clean with a great kitchen and plenty of space to hang out. Management was very responsive when contacted and followed up to make sure everything was working ok. We would definitely recommend and hope that we are able to come back.

The pictures really didn’t do it justice. The location was spectacular, the neighborhood was close to things to do but also felt tucked away and quiet. Across the street are the seals of pacific grove who were about to have babies! Great communication with the host. Look forward to returning.

Wonderful property
Seafarer is a beautiful and well crafted home, and sits across the street from the gorgeous seaside of Pacific Grove. Whether you are sitting on the lovely upstairs balcony off the master bedroom, taking your coffee down to a nearby bench along the water, or cooking on the professional grade appliances in the well appointed kitchen (always something we value), you really don't need to stray far from the house to seriously achieve relaxation. The beds were also awesome, and the decor is calming and peaceful. We were absolutely delighted with this property!

Beautiful place next to the ocean
Rental was really nice property in a great location. It was clean. Suggest that they make more towels available. The shampoo and conditioner was watered down. Other VRBOs we’ve rented provided more games, books, cooking utensils/pans. Overall I highly recommend the property.

Great Location
We loved this house! The location is great and just steps from the ocean and a path that is great for walking or biking. We walked into downtown Monterey each morning which was a great way to start the day. The master bedroom/bathroom is really beautiful. Great views and really large. The two main floor bedrooms don't have views but they are nice and clean. One is in need of a mirror but otherwise great. We didn't use the kitchen much but it is a perfect kitchen if you plan on making meals. I would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful stay
Great location and amazing view. It is right off the trail, a short walk from the cannery row. The house was clean and very well equipped. The only bad thing was VRBO - we couldn't connect to them via their phone numbers on VRBO and message system kept giving us automated messages. We googled the property management and with that number, we got connected right away and got all the information we needed. I would come back again.

Our Pacific Grove stormy adventure
This home is so beautiful and wonderfully situated that nothing short of a citywide power outage could make us leave early. Spectacular views, great gourmet kitchen and comfortably furnished as well as meticulously clean. We'll always remember the time the lights went out in Monterey! Sometimes the best trips are when things don't go quite as planned. Kyle at Monterey Bay Rentals provided great communication and promptly processed a refund for our lost night in paradise. We'll be back.

Otters Galore
There were at least 5 otters frolicking every day in the bay visible from the windows downstairs, as well as the wider ocean view visible from upstairs. The weather was nasty, which made it even more enjoyable to watch the water in comfort and warmth. The house is well-maintained, centrally located and simply lovely. My only suggestion would be to provide door mats inside the two entrances, so water doesn't get tracked on the floors. I finally put down a towel because it was rainy most of our visit, which did not impair our enjoyment a whit!
