Oceanfront: Step to the Beach from Your Porch!

This home is one of only two in existence along the entire coastline that is both oceanfront and bordering Asilomar State Park in the back. It is a true 'Beach House' where you can actually experience whale watching from the living room couch!
Great location--a short walk along the water to Spanish Bay/Pebble Beach.
The home is simple, sturdy and comfortable. As of 2019, the home was renovated with new baths, new paint, new tile floors, new carpet, window coverings, light fixtures etc. Downstairs features an open floor plan with large living room, dining room and kitchen all flowing from one to the other. There are large picture windows along the front with wide open views to the beach. The living room features a large wood burning fireplace, comfy couch and easy chairs, a game table, satellite TV, Stereo, etc. Kitchen is well- appointed with lots of cookware and appliances. Dishes are done 'old school' as there is no dishwasher. But since the kitchen sink faces the ocean, the task of washing dishes is fairly painless!
Upstairs there are three comfortable bedrooms, all with huge windows, comfy beds and flat screen satellite TV's. There is also an upper deck overlooking the dunes and the beach.
Outside you will find a firepit in the sand, perfect for bonfires...or just have a seat on one of the benches and gaze at the stars. The night sky is incredible as there is little ambient light!
The famous recreation trail that stretches from Pebble Beach to Santa Cruz is just across the street. You can walk to Spanish Bay Resort (maybe a mile) for world class dining, or wander along the trails of the Asilomar State Park.
If you are a beach/ocean lover, this is your spot. One thing's for sure: spend your vacation here and you will come to know why we love our Beach House so much!

Perfect Marathon Headquarters
This house was so cozy and the perfect place for all of us to stay over the Big Sur marathon weekend! The views were amazing to wake up to everyday and loved that we could bring my sisterā€™s dogs with us (they LOVED walking on the beach every morning).

Love this house. It's a literal stone's thrown from the ocean. Great views, comfy beds, kitchen has all you need. We would stay here again. Oh, and communication with the host was quick and efficient. She is amazing.

2024 April Stay
We loved being able to just walk across the street and enjoy low tide, walk to a sandy beach or just walk along the water. Our only issue was that the kitchen counters had food stuck to the front edges and several dishes were in the cupboard, dirty; even had pasta stuck to them. But, we had a wonderful time.

Beach BEAUTIFUL
We booked a weekend for son's birthday, who lives near beach in Santa Cruz. He was wowed by the beach at this house. The pictures of the house represented it well, including all the ocean views from every room. House kitchen well appointed for cooking. So appreciated enough silverware for many meals. The two minute walk to tide pools was a favorite, as well as enjoying towns nearby. Watching the baby seal at the cove of Point Lobos will always be remembered. Can't wait to go back!

Great views and cozy stay
My whole family had a great time staying at this house it was cozy and just a walk across the street to a small beach that my kids loved. Deers were in the front yard every morning it was amazing. The only thing is that if you have small kids the front door only has 1 lock that is easy to open so keep a eye on that door to the street. Would highly recommend any family staying at this home.

Breath taking views
The property is very comfortable (I love the cabin feel) and a perfect location. We watched the sunset every evening from our front yard. Itā€™s right across from our favorite hiking trail. We even walked to Pebble Beach. We saw deer, whales and even a coyote. Such a relaxing vacation.

Amazing location!!!
This house has an amazing location, very comfortable beds and pillows and a great amount of space for 6 people! The only thing I think that could be improved is the comfort of the outdoor space. The benches and small patio area wasnā€™t very comfortable; but the ability to just walk across the beach for walks and sunsets was well worth the small amount of bench discomfort. I want to book this again for this same weekend next year!

Unbelievable Location

fine decorated small vintage beach house with pacific sunset view right out of window. the location is unbeatable, 1 min walk to tidal pools and beach, grocery within 6 minutes and local restaurants close by. Property manager is very nice and responsive.

Location location
As advertisedā€¦.cozy and comfy! Lots of deer came to visit. The surf was at his highest and was beautiful. Had a glitch with the TV and a new one was delivered. Be aware there arenā€™t any spices or coffee to start you out! Smallish kitchen but certainly doable! And doing dishes old school was reminiscent of my childhood! Great location for walking, shell gathering, tide pool playing!
