Welcome to Home Away From Home! Home Away From Home is located in the pastoral South Farm District, on the beautiful Barn Hill Park with a perfect view of the Windhaven Horse Farm. In the evening, you can sit on the porch under the bistro lights and watch the horses enjoy their training. Just step off the porch to enjoy the expansive lawn, or fire pit with plentiful seating. This rare feature is perfect for families with dogs or small kids.
The minute you walk into this open-concept house, you will feel your stress melt away. The large, comfortable L-shaped sectional couch fits the whole family for movie night, game night, or just to talk around the fireplace. The 45-inch smart TV has apps available for all major streaming services. You can also enjoy cable TV with 150 channels, so you can see your favorite show or catch the big game. If it’s time for family movie night, pick from the selection of over 300 movies for the Blu-Ray player, ranging from family classics to your favorite action adventure. The living room table is the perfect place for game night, and the pantry is stocked with popular board games.
The large kitchen has room for multiple cooks and is fully equipped for all your family dinners. The sunlight dances off the quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. You can cook inside using the gas range, or on the balcony right off the kitchen, using the Weber gas grill. For those who prefer a glass of wine while watching the cooking, there are four stools at the island bar, so you can relax while interacting with the chef. The rustic farmhouse table normally seats six, but easily extends with leaves at both ends to comfortably seat ten. The main floor powder room is conveniently located off the kitchen, but not uncomfortably close.
For year-round comfort, the main floor and each bedroom have individual temperature-control units for heating and air conditioning. With all three bedrooms upstairs, you’ll be able to keep an eye on your small sleepers. Come and move right in with plentiful storage space from the dressers and closets in each bedroom.
The large primary suite is every parent’s retreat. You can relax on the king-sized bed or curl up with a good book in the comfy sitting area. If the adults want to enjoy a movie on their own, the primary bedroom is equipped with a TV, cable, and Blu-Ray player. But wait until you see the bathroom! The ensuite has a large tiled shower, double sinks with storage, and a gosh-darned water closet.
The second bedroom is beautifully decorated and features a queen bed with a cozy armchair. Through the large windows you can enjoy a peek-a-boo view of the ocean, perfect for watching the sunset.
The kids have plenty of room in the third bedroom, with their own double-sized bunk beds. With ample floor space, kids can play or sit in the child-sized chair.
When it’s bath time, there is a second bathroom upstairs with a tub/shower combo. The stackable washer and dryer are located at the top of the stairs in a hall closet so you don’t have to lug your laundry downstairs.
Still need more room to sleep? The living room couch folds out to a double bed. Linens are provided in the upstairs hall closet.
Don’t forget to bring puppers, because this house is ready to meet your four-legged family members. The pantry has a dog toy box, including a frisbee to use at the park and Chuck-It for playing fetch on the beach. When it’s time for dinner, puppers has their own mat and bowls, for no-fuss doggie dining. At bed time, they can be close to their people with the dog bed in the primary bedroom.
Our home away from home(!) is conveniently located near the pickle ball, tennis and basketball courts, as well as the playground, and is stocked with the equipment you need. In the garage, you’ll find bins with sporting equipment and beach toys.
Speaking of the garage, you can protect your cars from the salty air by parking in the extra-long two car garage with garage door opener. There is also room for a third car in the driveway. You won’t need your cars during your stay, as it’s only a short walk to downtown for local restaurants and shopping. We recommend taking the Gnome Trail to the beach and spotting the local Seabrook gnomes.
From coffee on the front porch watching the sun rise over the trees to wine on the back porch watching the sunset as dinner cooks on the grill, this house is ready to become your Home Away From Home.
