Adorable Cottage 1.5 blocks from the beach!

Stella Mare (Sea Star) cabin is a quaint, charming cape cod home with simple luxury yet only 1.5 blocks from the beach! It is exactly what you would expect from a beach house retreat. It sits in a perfect little town to enjoy walking the beach, clam digging, beach combing and amazing sunsets. There is a pristine, walking-only beach, with a great peaceful vibe. In addition, there are always great kites to enjoy and a kite shop in town if you decide to try it yourself! Bring the family & enjoy!

The space
Stella Mare is a stylish beach cabin that is your home away from home! It has two bedrooms and one batbroom downstairs. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and bedroim two has twin bunk beds + a trundle (for 3 singles) which gives great options for guests sleeping quarters. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. There is a huge master suite upstairs with king bed, walk-in closet, clawfoot tub and peek-a-boo ocean views. The house has a large front-porch, fire pit and charcoal grill to extend the vacation to the outside as well. We also have games available so you can soak up the sun and ocean breezes as you play bocce ball or horseshoes in the large, fully-fenced front yard.
Bring your dogs and have a great open space for them to soak up the sun and enjoy vacation with you!
In addition, for security, there is parking inside the fence for two cars and a parking pad in the back for a third car.
There are plenty of activities at the beach, besides building sand castles and flying kites, you can walk to the shops in downtown Pacific Beach, drive 1-mile up the road to Seabrook and enjoy their amenities - restaurants and shops - or drive only 30 miles to Lake Quinault or the Hoh rainforest. Whether you are staying a day or a week, you will absolutely enjoy your stay at Stella Mare!
Guest access
Guests have access to two 50" TVs, ready for your personal streaming, Internet access and full use of the house. We have provided a Keurig and a drip coffee maker for your caffeine fix, toaster, pots/pans and all the appliances you would expect in a working kitchen/laundry - stove, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer. There is a bathtub in the master bath and shower downstairs. There is access to the games and books in the house. Whatever you feel like doing, you can find it here.

Everything you need in a perfect location for a beach trip!
Cute, functional, and perfect location. We had a quick trip out to the beach to play in the waves. Kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable, and location perfect for getting out and on the beach easily.

Perfect Beach Cottage
Easy walk to the beach. Kitchen is very well stocked. We stayed in the upstairs space which is huge and the bed was very comfy. It is set back from the road which was nice and made it more private. Lovely to sit out on the front porch in the morning for coffee and reading. Overall a great space. We had our 91 year old father with us and the downstairs walk in shower was perfect for him. I wouldn't hesitate to reserve this lovely cottage again next time we are in the area.

The house was perfect for our family to gather - a spacious, clean kitchen, plenty of space for the 5 of us, plus our daughter's dog, and close to the beach for walking and kite flying. We used the firepit and enjoyed an evening making s'mores. Communication with Jo was timely and friendly, very helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Great time at the beach!
We had a great stay at this house, which had everything we could ask for. It's just a short walk to the beach and the little coffee shop down the way is a short walk for morning coffee. We enjoyed playing on the beach, walking our dog, playing bocce ball and horseshoes in the yard, and spending some relaxing time just hanging out. We would definitely recommend this house and would visit again.

Cozy getaway
Upon entering this property we were very impressed with the decor and how homey it was and how it made us feel right at home. It was clean and fully furnished. It was just the two of us but it would make a wonderful family getaway. The neighborhood is quiet and it is just a short walk to a great beach. This property is a true winner.

Really enjoyed our recent stay. Weather wasn't the best but we still had fun by the fire pit and on the beach. We appointed place and it was very clean and cute. Only complaint is the beds are hard as rocks. I got very little sleep because of it. Other than that, great place!

Very family friendly!
We had a wonderful time at this delightful beach house! The property is well-suited for a couple of families with children we especially enjoyed having the large, fenced front yard for playing. The fire pit out front was great for our roasting evening and the front porch had plenty of seating. The kitchen is well-equipped and easy to work in. We also appreciated the second fridge on the back porch. All-in-all, it’s a very nicely set-up accommodation that we very much enjoyed! Thanks for making this lovely place available for our long-overdue family reunion!

Rustic Beachy Vibes
Overall I would say our stay was just ok. Had the description of this place been a little more accurate we might have passed. It’s described as a “luxury beach home”. In our estimation, and opinion, we would call this more very rustic beach home, having stayed in more luxurious beach homes in the past. The positives were a fenced yard for our dogs which we appreciated along with being dog friendly. The staircase in this home is downright dangerous for older or young kids, and dogs. If you planned on grilled food here it’s a tabletop small grill so be prepared. It was just ok.

We loved this warm, cozy cottage for our family gathering. Well stocked kitchen, great beds, big family table for meals, games and puzzles while listening to the stormy weather. Very close to the ocean for dog walks, surf fishing and clam digging.

Short / Fun Stay at Stella Mare
We enjoyed our short, but fun stay at Stella Mare. The cottage was a short walk to the beach, close to shops and restaurants in Seabrook, and only a couple hours from the Hoh Rain Forest in Olympic National Park. It was a great start to our trip to the Pacific Northwest!
