"The hotel is quite a long distance from Bangkok, but for a couple of nights it is worth a visit (and the 2-3 hour drive across from Bangkok). The setting on the river is beautiful. We have one of the rooms with the kayaks, and these are easily accessible/ readily available. The only drawbacks were that there really is nothing to do in the local area, and to get into the town centre the only option is to use the hotel's taxi service (no other local services or Grab options available). "The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk to Bridge Over River Kwai and conveniently 10 minutes walk to Guan Lin Temple, just on the other side of the Bridge. For sunset lovers, this hotel has the best spot to see the sunsets, absolutely amazing. The room was nice and spacious and the staff were wonderful. "Nice accomodation facing the river. The furnishing is dated but the bedding pillows are decent. As the room faces the river, the other side of the river has live band so it is not suitable for people who are light sleepers (do bring ear plugs). Staff are friendly and the place is clean."

Staff was very pleasant & helpfull especially chot as because i got there very early he was managing the front desk reception but took time out to get my room made up 1st after previous occupants left 12.00 midday. "Stay before when visiting the area the management and staff are amazing and friendly we stayed in the rooms on the river and for £10 a night can’t beat it for any bag packer /couples there are usually 3 rooms on each row the walls are made of bamboo so can hear neighbours talking the bedding is clean and have English toilets and shower is hot water and fresh towel the bed a little hard this is to stop mosquitos eating into the material food is ok good variety of like curries and simple snacks...
