"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "

"Fabulous hotel in the heart of Burgundy. I stayed in the annexe, just around the corner from the hotel, but in a quiet street. The room was amazing, I sat room, really comfortable bed, separate room with sofa and tv, amazing shower room with separate toilet. Dinner was superb, the cuisine is outstanding, a great wine list - and the owners are so friendly. It’s a great place to walk around and I’d definitely like to go again. Thank you for a brilliant stay. "

"Splendid little place high on the hill behind Chinas with huge views. Really welcoming, handy little private garden with our room, good pool at a comfortable temperature. Food was good simple family cooking but very well executed. We have eaten in more expensive places in the region but sometimes after a long drive something non-challenging is just what the dr ordered. Lots of wine for sale and the well stocked fridges in the room were at cellar door prices. What not to like? We will return. Peter"
