Superb Ski Chalet In Alpe D'Huez / Oz-En-Oisans Resort

Chalet Oz is a private, self-catered chalet located in the Oz en Oisans resort in the heart of the French Alps. The chalet is completely detached with its own front door. A button lift is located just 50m from the chalet giving a ski in/ski out location. Oz is part of the Grandes Rousses/Alpe d’Huez ski area which is one of the largest resorts in the Alps. The ski area has more than 175km of pistes and plenty of off-piste routes for the more experienced skier. Two Gondolas provide rapid access from Oz to the main resort area with queues a rarity. There are a number of aspects that make Oz the perfect resort for families with children. There are no cars in the main resort area. The skiing in Oz itself is self-contained. A carpet lift and 2 button lifts is ideal for children as they start to learn and develop their skills. Access to the high mountain is not possible without taking one of the gondolas. For smaller children there is a creche, La Petite d’Oz in the resort, which takes children from 6 months up to 6 years.

Family getaway
Chalet accommodated our party of 10 perfectly. Bedrooms being split over 3 levels really helped. Chalet perfect for access to Oz resort. Can’t recommend this chalet enough.

Great chalet, good resort
This must be our third stay at this chalet. It is compact and at the bottom of a few steep steps but it is cosy and great value for money. Very easy hosts to deal with and all very relaxed. Chalet is directly below a drag lift that takes you to the Poutran lift into the Alpe d’Huez bowl. Oz is small so not many ch apres ski but we like it!!

Chalet tres bien situé pres des remontées et commerces.pas mal d equipement ménagérs. taille du frigo petit pour le nombre de personnes .pour la literie il y avait des lattes de cassées et il manquait un pied de lit sur un lit 1 personne.

Excellent séjour dans ce chalet de OZ. Très confortable et assez bien équipé. la proximité des pistes est intéressante ( 50m du tire-fesses) mais l'accès par un escalier avec son matériel de ski est assez physique.

Longtemps habitués à d'autres stations, nous avons découvert Oz et nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Il faut dire que nous étions dans les meilleures conditions : - Ruairi le propriétaire nous avait donné toutes les bonnes informations -Sandrine nous a accueilli chaleureusement et a pu répondre à nos questions, nous donner de bons conseils - Le chalet est très fonctionnel, bien équipé et surtout au pied des pistes. Quel joie de laisser la voiture au parking ! - La station est familiale, on y trouve tout ce qu'il faut. Bref nous sommes ravis de notre séjour et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir :-)

Beau chalet bien situé
Beau chalet très bien équipé et bien situé dans le bas de la station. Très pratique pour partir en ballade à partir du logement et promener les chiens. 2 terrasses agréables avec de belles vues. L' accès par un long escalier en fer est réservé aux personnes en bonne forme physique pour descendre les bagages. Le 1er étage est très agréable et ensoleillé, le coin nuit et le coin sanitaires au rez de chaussée est plus sombre et froid. En résumé, une belle location pratique et fonctionnelle, qui mériterait peut être un petit rafraîchissement.

Une belle semaine de randonnées
Chalet très bien situé et super agréable avec une cuisine très bien équipée. Rien ne manque. Le seul effort qui reste à faire est de changer les matelas qui sont bien trop mous. Le site d’Oz est magnifique et offre de superbes randonnées. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et nous remercions Sabine pour son accueil et ses conseils.

gemütlich und paktisch
gut gelegen, auch bei schlechter Schneelage war der Verbindungslift in Betrieb, allerdings muss zur Straße eine steiel Treppe bewältigt werden. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, insbesondere auch die Küche mit mehreren Personen gut zu nutzen.

Prima vakantie woning.
Dicht bij de piste, helaas door gebrek aan sneeuw was de sleeplift buiten werking en moesten we lopen met de skis. Ook niet ver. Ruime woning, voorzien van alle gemakken. Bedden zijn wat klein.

Idéalement située, le chalet est top. Nous avons passé une excellent semaine dans un endroit nous permettant de rayonner facilement via les montées en Cabine. On a pu aller vers l'Alpe d'Huez, monter à 3300 mètres, descendre dans la vallées... Le chalet était très confortable et ce pour deux familles. L’accueil au top.

Tenant compte des avis précédents, nous n'avons pas été déçus par cette location...qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de la dernière semaine de ski sur Oz...Le sherpa étant fermé ( sic...), nous avons apprécié la présence de fonds de placard conséquents et de produits d'entretien... Nous étions 2 familles, le chalet était très bien équipé, lits confortables et faits à l'arrivée...linge de toilette...Nous reviendrons sans hésiter à l'occasion. Sandrine, qui gère le chalet a été très disponible et réactive...

kleines Chalet in steiler Hanglage
Sauberkeit und Ausstattung ok. Chalet ist nur über eine Metalltreppe von ca. 75 Stufen zu erreichen. Steile Holztreppe zum niedrigen Dachgeschoss, dort nur in der Mitte Stehhöhe. Pro Chalet 1 kostenloser Parkplatz in Parkhaus. Netter Kontakt mit Vermieterin und Sandrine, der Hausverwalterin.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour : propreté, localisation du chalet, contact pour récupérer les clés ... Tout était OK ! Un détail que nous aurions apprécié : disposer du plan du chalet parmi les photos proposées sur l'annonce. Les photos correspondent parfaitement au chalet mais un plan aurait facilité l'installation rapide des affaires de chacun en permettant d'attribuer les chambres à l'avance quand on a un groupe constitué de personnes qui ont des soucis d'articulations...
