"Getting in was difficult for me as my phone ate my sim and refused to give it back, so I didn't have a working phone. The code I had initially been given didn't work and I had no means to contact the company until I got a new sim. "Superbly located property, a few yards away from the lift with great facilities; garage, ski lockers, pool… we checked in online (which we strongly recommend) via the link the property sent which saved us queueing on arrival Saturday (queue was out the door!) - they will send you a SMS with you room number, go there straight away and your keys and instructions will be on the kitchen table. Brilliant! Would return if skiing in Alpe d’Huez again."

"Super friendly staff - and valloire is a beautiful town! Didn’t realise it was not a regular hotel so making beds after a long flight was not really fun... 400euro deposit which we found expensive compared to other hotels during our euro trip... also took ages to come back to our card which took a chunk from our budget. Had to clean and vacuum the room after stay too... Great little unit but more like a holiday pet than a hotel... Staff made the stay worth while however !!! "

"We spent 4 nights at Les hauts de Comborcieres during the Christmas break. The apartment was comfortable. It is very conveniently located near the ski slopes. The pool was really nice too. A revoir la literie (matelas mousse qui s'affaisse) le linge est propre tout comme l'appartement par contre il y avait cette odeur de tabac froid pas terrible. "This must be our third stay at this chalet. It is compact and at the bottom of a few steep steps but it is cosy and great value for money. Very easy hosts to deal with and all very relaxed. Chalet is directly below a drag lift that takes you to the Poutran lift into the Alpe d’Huez bowl. Oz is small so not many ch apres ski but we like it!!"
