Les Alizés, magnificent villa with breathtaking view

Magnificent villa located on the heights of Oyster Pond, splendid 180 ° sea view, facing Saint Barth, Tintamarre and Galion beach. It is located on the French side, at the border of the border with the Dutch side.
Spacious and luxurious, very well ventilated, it is ideally placed on the top of a hill, not overlooked, in a very quiet area, close to all amenities, restaurants and beaches. 10 from the large Orient Bay beach and 15 minutes from Grand Case where you will find all the French and local gastronomy.

Eden Rock is made up of 2 completely independent villas placed one above the other and which can be rented separately. They each have their private swimming pool, their exteriors, their furnished wooden terrace and their private carbet (covered dining area) in a large wooded garden.
Les Alizés is on the ground floor: 1 spacious living / dining room, equipped kitchen, 2 independent comfortable rooms with private bathrooms and WC and 1 laundry room.

Eden Rock experience

Ocean Breeze
Paradise. Les Alizes is clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with comfortable beds and all necessary amenities. However, the main attraction is the ocean view from multiple vantage points and the steady breeze that comes with the view. Nights are blissful with star filled skies and the gentle rolling of ocean waves. Located in the village of Oyster Pond there are many opportunities for fine dining and there is a small bakery/grocery outlet. Most of the main island attractions are within a 30 minute drive. Highly recommend this property for an island vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay in St. Martin. Quiet, relaxing, amazing view of the ocean, private pool, close to delicious restaurant and a fun French bakery very close for breakfast. The house had everything we needed. We thought this was the perfect location coming from a small town in Minnesota we don't like the hustle and bustle or at least we like to be able to get out of the busyness of parts of the island. My son is eight and enjoyed the close beaches, pool and the toys and equipment available! Overall, a wonderful trip! Thank you!

Beautiful place
The house is very modern and spacious with an amazing view. Loved the kitchen and the stove, very modern and brand new utensils, appliances, and cookware! Big, spacious laundry with big washer/dryer. The House Manager was very helpful and she attended immediately to any requests we had. My only suggestion to the Owners would be to provide additional, and better quality bath towels, and an extra bed linen. Thank you.

Best vacation views!!
Melanie and Patrick's home exceeded our expectations. The pictures were very accurate but didnt do it justice. The house is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. We stayed in the top 2br unit and had an amazing stay. The pool is large, so many different places to sit, eat and relax. Very close to so many great restaurants and beaches. 15min drive gets you to numerous restaurants and beaches on the french side and the same gets you to the busier dutch side. Bread and butter was a great little spot to go down for espresso and fresh pastries in the morning. Safe neighbourhood and very easy to find. The property is laid out in such a unique way that a large family could rent both units. Maryse was extremely helpful with recommendations and bookings. Would definitely rent from Patrick and Melanie again. Patrick made our kids' day by introducing them to their pet tortoises on our final day.

Privacy issues
The pictures don’t show how much the two units are on top of each other. We were in the higher one and when guests arrived in the one below us it was like they were in our space! We had to close the windows to stop the noise. Another issue was the property owners. They own a studio that is adjacent to our villa. They would come in on a Saturday and leave on Monday. We couldn’t use the pool in private because it’s right in front of their studio!! Another matter that wasn’t pleasant is that the water tank stopped 6 different days and left us with no water for hours! The owners only made excuses and never apologized for our inconveniences.

Exceptionnelle villa
Nous venons de passer 3 semaines dans cette exceptionnelle villa. Tout est moderne, propre, fonctionnel. La vue est à couper le souffle, la piscine est grande et très agréable pour mes enfants qui avaient besoin d'espace. L'accueil y est excellent, Maryse est au petits soins et les propriétaires sont attentionnés.

Wonderful, gorgeous property! You cannot go wrong with booking here!
Overall, it was wonderful! It is at described and shown in the pictures- stunning! We wish we could return- rather I wish I owned the place it is that spectacular! If you are looking to be in the middle of easy access to food, gas, stores, etc. Then this is not the place. This is very quiet, peaceful and private! There are a couple of restaurants at the bottom of the hill but not always open. There is also a small market at the bottom of the hill but you do pay a bit more for the convenience from having to drive to the Dutch side. We have no major complaints. The dryer was broken and that would have been nice to have had available. Yes, we were able to wash our clothes and dry on the provided clothes line which was nice but a dryer would have been more convenient. We saw that the lower level had working tv but ours for some reason did not work. Thankfully they had DVD movies that we watched in the evenings but a working TV would have been nice. It is a newer big screen, very nice but just wasn't working during our stay. The owner is aware. We would stay again in a heart beat! The owners were friendly and even took our family picture for us. Thanks for making dreams come true!!!!

La maison a été entièrement refaite et est parfaitement équipée. Elle domine du haut d’une colline où on a une vue à 180 degrés sur la mer, on aperçoit au loin Saint Barthélemy. La piscine est à l’abri du vent et est très grande. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Amazing ocean views, great location!
We rented the top level of the house and the lower level was not occupied, which was awesome. The house is modern, clean, spacious, well equipped. The ocean views from the house are absolutely amazing. The owners let us use the 2 pools and granted us a late checkout. Thank you so much, it was greatly appreciated. Maryse, the property manager who welcomed us was wonderful. The location is perfect. Safe and calm neighborhood. 20 minutes away from Grand Case and Marigot. Great car rental company: Sax. Best restaurant in Marigot: Tropicana. Best restaurant in Oyster Pond: Big Fish. Best beaches: Anse Marcel (breath taking views) and Happy Bay (secluded and gorgeous). We had the best time and will definitely come back.

Great spot!
What a lovely spot and in a good location. The view is beautiful. It is as the pictures show very clean and well maintained. We truly enjoyed our stay here. Maryse was so helpful and we had no problems whatsoever. We will absolutely book this again. We were surprised on arrival to find that we had not rented a separate villa. Just to clarify that this is one building. We had the top level and there was a couple below us. Both totally separate from one another but with a shared laundry room. Each of us had own pool and patio area.

Nous avons été en vacances pour 11 jours avec nos enfants de 13 ans et la propriété était parfaite! Eden Rock - Modern, mountain-top bliss!
This property is stunning, to say the least! We were a group of 4 and this villa accommodated us perfectly. The views from Eden Rock are spectacular, and the sliding glass doors which open completely really increase the floor plan and bring the outside, in! Mélanie and Patrick leave nothing to be desired, with all of the necessities to make living here for the week easy and enjoyable. On the French/Dutch border, the location is close to all of your necessary amenities such as grocer, baker, beaches, fuel for your car, etc. A short drive to Grand Case, and you're in the Caribbean's gastronomy capital! One side note, so travellers are clear: This villa is, in actuality, one large home, separated into 2 independent villas - one on top of the other. This means if you're seeking ultimate privacy, you may not wish to secure this villa, in particular. We lucked out, in that there was no one renting the lower level villa, so we never felt as though our privacy was encroached upon. Otherwise, Eden Rock's main veranda does overlook the lower level villa's infinity pool, and we wondered how conscious we would have had to be about noise levels, etc. should there have been renters below us. Other than that - it's a spectacular place to call home for your SXM getaway! We'd highly recommend it to anyone seek a sun-paradise dream vacation. Thank you for your hospitality!
