As soon as you enter this unique, two-level house, you’ll be welcomed by a spacious, open layout and mild interior decor. Kick back and relax in the comfortable living room area, which features a couple of inviting sofas strategically placed in front of a flatscreen TV and a pool table. The fully-equipped kitchen with modern, stainless steel appliances is perfect to whip up tasty meals, and a large wooden table and a glass table provide enough seating for the entire group. On the second floor, you can find a small and furnished balcony on the master bedroom and it faces the harbor for some beautiful water views. Back on the first floor, the patio facing the harbor is the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. A few beach chairs complement the lounging space.

You’ll be less than a mile away from the famous Oxnard State Beach Park, so you better pack your sunscreen and go dig your toes in the sand. Lovely view!
I have rented this house several times and it has gone a bit downhill. The sliding glass doors were left OPEN when we arrived, 5 minutes after we arrived the refrigerator was leaking badly and a plumber arrived and turned off the water for an immediate fix. We had to buy bottled water and ice. There were no instructions for the TV and we could not watch the first two days of our stay until we figured it out on our own. The house is lovely. I just wish we could still book for a short 3 or 4 day stay, Now it has changed to a minimum of a week, which we did.

Nice Home, Convenient location, Fabulous boat dock
We loved the location and made good use of the boat dock. We were close to the Harbor boat ramp and our favorite restaurant and had a great view of the harbor from our patio and bedroom. The home was large enough to accommodate 4 adults very comfortably and had comfortable beds. When we reported to Vacasa that the coffee pot was barely usable and the cookware was dirty and quite beaten up, a brand new set of cookware and a coffee pot were delivered to us immediately! There were some things that need repair and a few additions that would ake this property a 5 star place: First, the rusted-out iron gate on the patio is dangerous and numerous vertical blind slats and wands throughout the home DO NOT WORK and need to be replaced. Also the dish drainer is rusted out. There are some other items that would be nice to have such as a couple of blankets, and umbrella for the patio and especially a working ice maker/water in the fridge. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Nice getaway.
Our check in was sort a mess due to the previous tenants of the property. They had apparently trashed the place. We were told that we couldn't check in until 8 p.m. and since this is a waterfront property, we were upset as we wanted to enjoy the sunset on the deck. After a bit of back and forth, and some misunderstandings, we were able to get help from the management and the reservation representatives who did come through in the end. The cleaning people went above and beyond to try to get us in quickly, and we helped them finish up. They were very accommodating. The house itself is as pictured, and has most everything you need. Bring paper napkins and things like salt and pepper, but in terms of dishes, silverware and pans it is well stocked. Enjoy those sunsets! They were worth the wait!

great water access
First off, many of these issues are out of the control of the renter but are things I wish I'd known. The house is close to a causeway which is loud when sitting on deck or in master bedroom, no AC so windows have to stay open. Only sheer curtains in master with neon lights on house across the way and car headlights that are very bright at night. While we were there a house on one side was being repaired/moved out of, and an empty lot on the other side had a cement foundation being jackhammered for 2 days, with quieter work the other days. The walking path under the causeway, 2 houses down, was covered in broken glass. We also had dirty floors when we arrived (black grit on feet) and ended up buying a swiffer and cleaning the floors ourselves because we had family arriving and didn't have time for the cleaners to come out again (which was offered and we declined) The property management was very responsive. The access to the water couldn't be better, we brought paddleboards and loved that. The nearby oxnard beach park was awesome and rarely crowded. Lots of dining options nearby.

Oxnard Vacation
Our recent vacation to Oxnard required a house for nine people. This property checked all our boxes! There was plenty of room and the pool table was a big hit for the family. The location was perfect and being on the water was amazing. As a family from a very hot and humid climate, I was worried about the lack of A/C, but that definitely wasn’t a problem. The house was clean but could use a good deep cleaning. With that being said, it wouldn’t stop us from staying there again. If we ever return to Oxnard this property will be on our list.

NO AC ? WORRIED FOR NO REASON!
Let me start by saying I am a control freak and was not sure about renting this place from Vacasa based on some reviews. All that worry was for nothing as someone who has rented a lot of beach hotels and gotten a lot of stinkers! First off I like central air and I did not realize the home did not have AC when we rented it and we were they in the middle of August, guess what didn't need it! The breeze coming off the Marina was great even had to close the doors at night because the ladies got chilly. 2nd the location of the home and the town of Oxnard is great, everything you need and more. Lastly the condition of the property and all accommodations exceeded our expectations. I would rent this property again. In closing I gave 5 stars even though it may be just shy of it but close enough!

Great house and location.
We loved our stay at Oxnard Lodge. The location right on a harbor canal and a quick walk to the beach was great. The house is clean and well stocked. And the extra added plus is that when I left my two special pillows, the local agent sent them back to me right away. Great vacation!

The house has a nice view of the harbor. It’s situated on the busy part of the channel which made it interesting, being able to watch boats/yachts/kayaks/paddle boards pass by. There was one evening where the steam boat passed by! The beds were very comfortable, except for the twin beds which were too firm for our liking. The inside of the house is laid out well, you can have different activities while still being able to hangout with the group. The house is well lit with plenty of seats. If you plan to cook, bring your own spices - The grocery is less than a mile away (very convenient!). I would definitely rent this place again

Nice, large home on the water.
Our family enjoyed our stay. The three bedrooms accommodated our 7 people well. The bedrooms have a different bed layout than I expected: master (king), second bedroom (two queens), third bedroom (twin with a twin trundle). The neighborhood was nice with friendly neighbors and a sidewalks to walk our dog. Parking was easy with nearby one-sided street, and two spots in the driveway. We also had access to the garage. Flatware and garbage bags were a bit limited for a larger group, especially if cooking and eating at home. The bbq was great and the many seating areas worked well for meals and for our many working/schooling individuals. Our medium dog was happy except that he is used to a grassy yard for potty purposes. The back patio is enclosed, with a gate to the shared dock. Nearby, we rented a Duffy boat and used the dock off of the home. Thanks for a nice time.

Good House
Comfortable clean house with lots of large screen TV’s. BBQ worked but could do with some spring time parts. Pool table was great. Well situated with a short walk to really good pizza restaurant. Will be booking this house again.

Super Nice!
The home was large and spacious and the view was amazing! Having the doc right there was pretty cool! Plenty of dishes and glassware etc.. not spices or cooking stuff to speak of if you plan to cook in pan ahead for that. The home was clean but, the floors were pretty dirty. I think it was vacuumed before we got there but my white socks turned black pretty quick.. the first morning we had ants everywhere (which was our fault for leaving some pizza on the counter) but there was no bug spray or anything.. But everything else was perfection! sitting on the patio each night watching the boats go by and the sun going down was my favorite part! I would 100% stay here again!

It was just an ok stayed
i emailed the property manager, many times due to Covid situation, making sure we can still rent and if we needed to cancel how we could reach out to him or Vacasa, but no response from anyone or VRBO when we got to the house we were given the wrong lockbox code and was on hold for 45 mins to get to someone with the correct one. then the house didn't have the bare essentials like salt & Pepper, there was a coffee maker but not coffee filters?, Towels were still in the dryer, no hangers in the closet, cable was not working. so just an ok place.

Family Vacation
The location is nice if you have teens, easy walk to Hollywood Beach. The Harbor view is pretty, watching the boats come and go however the overpass is noisy, especially for the people who sleep in the master bedroom upstairs. The balcony off the master was a nice surprise but the rat traps left inside from house keeping wasn't so great. The TV remotes are a bit confusing. The large TV downstairs was glitchy and the tv in one of the smaller bedrooms did not work. We had a VACASA technician come out but it was not fixable. He did bring us a new pool cue though as one of the two were broken. A good amount of dishes and glasses but not very clean, come to discover the dishwasher doesn't work well; the soap dispenser does not open during the wash cycle so the dishes are basically cleaned with hot water and that's it. Not much provided in the way of paper towels, toilet paper, pots and pans. Luckily we live only 30 minutes south so we went back home and picked up kitchen supplies. The floor was dirty when we arrived. I had to do a full sweep of the house; lots of dirt, sand and hair. The weather was amazing, the kayaking and paddle boarding was super fun. This house does not have air-conditioning. I was under the impression that cooling and heat meant there was an air conditioner and heater but the technician told me to open my windows and turn on the ceiling fans. This did not work well during a heat wave with my elder parents.

Spacious & comfortable Waterfront home
This house had plenty of room for our family, a nice outdoor dining area and a waterfront deck & dock to enjoy. There is plenty of space for a large dinner with family (seating for 12-14 throughout various areas), a large couch for relaxing/watching TV, and a nice pool table for fun games. There is ample room to spread out and read in your own area, play board/card games, watch TV, sunbathe, etc. The kitchen is fairly large and has plenty of room for a few people to work on a big meal together, and the outdoor grill worked perfectly. The shared dock also has plenty of room to tie up a dinghy, kayaks, paddle boards, float toys and such on the left side. Made it very easy to access water activities, ...especially while the beaches were all closed!
