"My husband & I stayed in The Slaughter Country Inn for 5 nights during our visit to the Cotswolds. The service at the inn, along with in their restaurant, was top-notch. The meals at the inn were excellent, much better than we have experienced in most inns in the U.S. The cottage that we stayed in was roomy and comfortable with a living room downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Its in an old building, but its decorated as modern as it could be without comprising the old features. Its a little noisy, and not good window coverage to keep the daylight out. It was just by luck that i asked a local about getting into Oxford when we found out the nearest train station was only a couple of mile away in the lovely village of tackley. 1 stop away from Oxford only £10. Return for 2 adults straight into Oxford city centre. Within 10 minutes. Very clean hotel and great food ."

"All good - Food in the Pub excellent. Can recommend the Steak Diane. Good atmosphere. There were 6 of us. All happy with our stay. Stairs a bit high to the top bedroom but we were ok. Food in the pub across the road looked good Tilted Wig. Especially the Sunday Roast. The smallest pub in Warwick a few yards away. Excellent. Everything on hand. Couldnt fault it. "We had a great stay at the Wychwood inn. Great welcome and customer service through out our visit. The inn is in a great location just 2 miles from Diddly Squat Farm and scenic quaint Cotswold villages and towns. The inn has lots of lovely cosy corners to sit both inside and outside in the lovely garden. The food was good and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning . We will definately visit again."

"This castle did not disappoint! From the outside it appears like a "real" castle (because it is/was). But the inside has modern decor and amenities. The beds were super comfortable. Check in/out was easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was AMAZING! I have 3 teen daughters and they had a fun time doing a castle photo shoot. So many cute nooks and scenery. We highly recommend this property!!!"
