This hotel met my needs. I was in Oxford doing research for two days (three night stay). The room was clean, the hotel quiet, and the property in easy walking distance of town. There was one major problem: the mattress was so worn out that I could feel the springs through the cover, and I woke up with a back ache. Renters should also be aware that the property is a renovated set of Victorian row house that are very vertical. Be prepared to lug your suitcase up two or three flights on a very narrow staircase. Finally, although I specified "pay at the property," the owners charged my card immediately. I suspect that is because there is no personal check-in. Renters are sent a code to access a box that contains a fob and room key. If that is the policy, it should be stated on the Expedia site.
