"Güven, the hotel manager, and his friendly staff were like “the cherry on top” of a hotel with perfect accommodations. His recommendations for restaurants and activities were fantastic! He repeatedly offered to make reservations for us and suggested activities for the entire peninsula. When I was temporarily ill, he was very attentive to my needs. "Villa Mercan is a must-stay. Even without its proximity to Datça (3 mins to picturesque Old Datça and 8 to bustling new Datça) the beautiful grounds, perfect swimming pool, and copious farm-fresh breakfast make it worth a stay on its own. The owners went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay, providing expert advice on the local area and coast of Turkey. We would come back again just for this hotel. "
