"Lovely house very close to beach and walking to town. Communication was great with owner. Kids enjoyed the puzzles and games in the evening. Thank you for a wonderful weekend."

"The property was spacious, beautiful and well equipped. Garden, tennis court, table tennis and pool were really appreciated by everyone. Remember to bring your tennis rackets. "The first night of our stay, I unrolled a towel on the bed in the cottage and 2 roaches fell out. Then I pulled down the comforter and more roaches were crawling around. I messaged the host on VRBO and heard nothing. I then messaged via text. The only response was that the host had not gotten the message on VRBO. No action or apology."

"This is a beautiful house in a lovely town on the Normandy coast. We came to see some of the D-Day landing sites and beaches and as a group of adults really appreciated the size of the house and the fact that all the bedrooms were pretty equal in size with modern bathrooms. The garden is also very pretty and secluded. We spent a lovely few days in this very gentle part of the world and hope to come back again soon. "The house was very modern and new. The room arrangements were good for our group. One bedroom en-suite was on the ground floor which was nice. The house is outside the bustle of Caen but an easy drive to get there. Plus, grocery stores and restaurants were just a few minutes away. Because the area is new there was a lot of road construction with new roads not showing accurately on our GPS. As a result, we had a hard time finding our way in and out of the area during our stay. "The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."

Caen, Center of Many Sights

"A very convenient location to explore Caen and Lower Normandy. We made several day trips out from St. Michel in the west to the D-Day beaches. Caen has a lot to offer from William the Conqueror's tomb to wonderful restaurants."

"What a delightful hotel. The rooms were modern, stylish, clean as a whistle and well equipped. The building is equally stylish and well maintained. We didn't eat in the dining room as it was very busy but crossed the road to a restaurant clearly popular with the locals where I enjoyed the best Cafe Gourmand of my life, for a very reasonable price. We could only stay for a single night but, if I'm in Normandy again, especially if I arrived off the evening boat into Le Havre, it would be my first choice. "

"We had a rented car, so we appreciated the convenient parking right at the hotel. There is optional secure parking for a moderate fee. We had a "double" room, which was very small with tiny cupboards for clothing and other items. The room was clean, comfortable, well maintained and quiet."
