"Cannot speak highly enough about this place or the host; both are excellent. The house is fabulous and the grounds perfect; a hugely characterful old stone house subtly furnished with a mix of old and new but equipped with all you need for a home from home. I have to mention the showers; they were brilliant. Add to that a beautiful garden with sun and shade, a gorgeous, safe pool and a games room. It ticked all the boxes for us. "The owner Begoña was very helpful in welcoming us and later in dealing with our requests. Beds were very comfortable; good bathroom; useful laundry room. The heating was very welcome. We can recommend visits to Sta Eulalia near Lugo, Vilar de Donas and the Froiz supermarket in Monterroso."
